Just because two people aren’t legally divorced doesn’t mean a person can’t be put on child support. Also if he’s in the military and she tells his SO he’s not financially supporting his children, he can get into trouble.

Well, I'm the most "mama's boy," and so what? I'm financially responsible and no relationship will ever get in my way to how I'm the closest to my mother. You're so wrong. It takes a village to raise a kid. In my culture, there are no babysitters & even though most mothers are housewives, their kids are in proper care of other family members like grandparents, uncles and aunts.
