My Grandson and myself done this on his honda. Stopped the chatter. If you have to tighten the gap it causes the valve to open sooner, open more and open longer. Not much mind you, but enough you will notice a big difference in performance...

will the firing order and turning of the camshaft the same for a vtech engine?
