I got the ciate advent last year on sale just before Christmas for £15.
If you want to expand you're nailpolish collection try doing that (I know its meant for all of Christmas but it was a huge saving and one of my favorite purchase)

Nice to see someone mention M&S beauty - I find that their beauty hall is so good and that they have a lot of niche brands that are otherwise hard to get hold of, especially for a store that's in pretty much every town/city centre!
The M&S calendar is £200 or £25 with a £25+ purchase in the beauty hall (similar to Estée Lauders blockbuster each year). It's not out yet (in store) but some were available online last week at £200 and sold out within an hour! I'm trying to find out if there will be more calendars available online when they go into the stores.

I have the Tanya Burr 12 day advent calendar that I picked up for £15, much more suitable for a students budget haha.

I love looking at all of the beauty advent calendars so thanks for doing this video, Fleur! Although I'd have never thought to get one for the price that they are. My mother-in-law actually surprised me by buying the Liberty calendar for me this year so I'm REALLY excited to have one to open, although I'm still absolutely astounded at how much it costs and can't believe she spent so much on me! If I get nothing else for Christmas this year I'll still consider myself very spoiled!
Wonderful overview! Pardon if this has been mentioned already but regarding Ciaté: Nail Gym and Bloom Boost (found within the calendar) can both be used as base coats. Take care!
I read on a blog that the House of Fraser one was more suited to young teenage girls, so I did buy 2 granddaughters those as they love nail stuff. My husband bought me the Liberty one so I am looking forward to opening that.

Just to let everyone know they are selling the Ciate advent calenders in TK Maxx in Meadowhall, Sheffield :) I went last night and there were about 20 left. They are downstairs on the beauty stand which is located at the far end of the tills. xx

I'm so pleased you included the No7 calendar as I work on one of their counters. However, please don't refer to the brand as one for your Mum / Grandma! We have introduced so many new products the last year or so which appeal to the younger market, plus we are the only brand offering the match made service on foundations, concealers, blush and lipsticks! Many of the foundations come in a wide shade range and have different finishes and coverage depending on your preference! 💋
I bought tanya burr's advent calendar and I can't wait to get it at the mail. Videos on beauty gift ideas like valentine's, mother's day, etc would be great Fleur!

For the past two years I've managed to pick up the Ciate calendar for £10 (£5 on the last day!!) at the clothes show, really was going to resist this year as I don't really need anymore nail polishes but this years is so cute! Plus you can't say no at that price 😂 I really want to get my hands on the M&S one though! Xx
The Kiehl's advent calendar this year seems to be good as well. It is 40€, but it has e.g. the full size avocado eye cream in it, which is on its own 22€. There is another full size product and a bunch of the travel sizes. Kiehl's is one of my favourite skin care brands anyway and I guess this advent calendar is giving you a nice overview, if you're interested in the brand and want to try out a few of their best selling products 🤗

I have the make up revolution one, it's £25 from Superdrug and has all full size products. The box says there is a full size eye shadow pallette in too.

Thanks so much for this, it's brilliant! I think I got an idea for one to get for myself and one to pick up as a gift for a girlfriend. One thing I definitely liked is that three of these (No7, Lush, and M&S) are cruelty free! I've been CF for a year now and was starting to despair when these sorts of videos came out but it's so nice when a company does an advent that lets you sample lots of their stuff and I can feel good about it too. for the benefit one, if they haven't got any online, check debenhams in store. I work there and the benefit girl told me that each store has a certain amount delivered then no more after that. x
I always think these are so cool! I always want to get one but the good ones are always so expensive and usually just have tiny samples. That Joe Malone one looks great though!
I have the Revolution one from Superdrug that cost £25. All the products are full size, and based on the packaging, there is even an eye pallette in there.
I would love the ciate one or the feel unique one. I am tempted by the Tanya Burr one, but I don't wear false lashes

Oh wow, these look perfect! It's only just now that advent calendars with little presents instead of chocolate are getting popular in Belgium - I think we can only find the Body Shop one since the other ones you mentioned are unknown in our little country but still: woohoo!

Bought a Maybelline one weeks ago! Paid 25€ (guess about 17 Pound). It's massive! Saw it on Instagram and ran to the store. As far as I know it was a cooperation with our Drugstore in Germany (dm) to celebrate their 100 year anniversary. It has many full size things. I am so excited! And it is actually quite good value for money as I wanted to buy most of the full sizes anyways.

Really enjoyed this, I've never heard of beauty advent calendars until I saw Tanya Burr launch hers so I found this really useful and fun to watch. You seem to really know about the different brands and products so I trust your advice and it was good to see a variety of different ones.

just a heads up if you're buying the marks and Spencer beauty advent calender (which launches Tuesday 17th November) you have to spend £25 in the beauty department to then buy it for £25! silly I know but it's fantastic and full of different companies that we stock!! can't wait for mine ;)

I am Jewish. Chanukah is December 6th! I wish companies would acknowledge ALL holidays not just one!

Ik I celebrate both Chanukah and Christmas because my dad is Jewish and mom is Christian and it sucks that the don't have an advent calendar for each day of Chanukah
+Aиgеlа гаррiп advent is a Christmas specific thing though. I'm not saying the mainstream shouldn't acknowledge Chanukah more, but I wouldn't hold my breath for advent and advent calendars in particular. At the end of the day though, why not make your own?

Hi Fleur, the M&S advent calendar is only £25 when you spend £25 in store/online on beauty products from 17/11. Collectively the advent calendar is worth £250. Great Video xx
