Throwing charge moves with the correct timing and counting their moves is the 2 main keys, everything comes together after that 👍🏻

I've actually got the most frustrated this season than I have ever been... got to just under expert and then boom all of a sudden knocked back down to 2500... since I just don't play as much anymore, didn't even do gbl weekend

Yeah I understand how you feel. These days when I am not doing well, I usually just take off the rest of my sets and sometimes a day or two, haha!

100% agree that the competition is getting better.
I used to be able to run nonsense and hit legend. I now need to run a more serious team to climb.
But much like you im here for fun, i am not grinding a boring meta team 😂😂😂

Cool team! haven't seen Sandshrew in ages haha. I agree, the game would be so much better in a show 6 pick 3 format, it would kind of eliminate the blind RPS feel. Also lag has been so bad these days, I really hate losing to lag more than RPS 😅. It baffles me the game is still in such a poor shape after all these years of Go Battle League. I would also really like a non-competitive mode, so you don't lose elo when testing spice or just want to have fun without worrying about climbing/dropping.

Practice mode has been a want for awhile now! But yeah, the lag right now is the worst I've seen in awhile!

I kind of get what you want to say: There are other things involved than skill and analytical thinking when it comes to hitting legend. And you’re right.
PoGo isn’t a competitive game in that regard. You have everything from luck to the algorithm (my hypothesis, as I’ve said before, is that it rewards people who buy stuff) to - maybe most importantly - who pays money to get access to important meta Pokémon. And let’s not forget your internet connection. I’m at 2770 right now but have lost MANY matches due to lag lately and the last set I did, I won only 2 when it should’ve been 4.
I often overcome difficult matchups by strategic play, but just like you I can’t be bothered to 100% count moves anymore. I just don’t care enough to. And that does make a difference big enough to keep me from hitting the leaderboard.

It took me a year of grinding to finally get a good team together. 423 battles to hit Ace trainer for the first time!

I was thinking about using that little dude at some point! Thankfully they added the screen lag feature to minimize the need to count. My sets also have at least one game start with pogo locking up, to remind me to relax and not take this game seriously...hehe.

Love the content brother, but I see you are not timing your moves properly, example: I saw you had 2 turn into a 3 turn pomemon, you need to be throwing your moves at 1, or 4, or 7. Your giving your opponent too many free turn and win conditions. If you can get the charge move timing right, it will change your game completely! Good luck and have fun, keep up the great work

Would Shadow Alolan Sandshrew do well? 🤔

    • @Sassifrass
      @Sassifrass  Před 3 měsíci

I feel like the extra bulk from the non-shadow helps Sandshrew deal with Charms and such a bit better.

Also i have a very noobie question. What is the 4/15/15 mean next to the pokemons name?

The Attack/Defense/HP IVs of his Serperior.
Every Pokémon you get has different IVs which you can see if you: go to your Pokémon > click on the button for more options > then click appraise

@flamableman28 thank you for replying! I also have another question. Why would you want lower attack on some pokemon?
