@@geox8485 In the manga, it was just Vegetas blast distracting him and as the other commenter said, it was a heavily fatigued and weakened Gohan, you may choose to interpret him as being half power or not but all that matters is that full power SSJ2 Gohan is more then likely relative to or stronger then Super Perfect Cell. There's also the fact that SSJ2 Goku is significantly stronger and would be at the same level of strength as a Majin SP Cell.

Before the beam struggle, Gohan took a heavy blast from Cell that was meant for Vegeta, disabling his arm. However, for this to be true, Super Perfect Cell has to be at least relative to Gohan for the blast to damage him that much. But right before he fires the Father Son Kamehameha, Gohan himself says "I can't use my left arm... My ki has gone way down" essentially confirming that not only is Gohan severely weakened, a one handed kamehameha would also be weaker then a 2 handed one which makes it extremely impressive that Cell didn't immediately overwhelm him with his own Kamehameha.
This was quite a treat to watch, the result also seems to be rather accurate since an SSJ2 Goku would more then likely be equal to a Majin Super Perfect Cell. Only weird thing is Goku being fatigued after barely using up any energy or taking many hits.
@@Webshooters1 I don't think so, this was a Majin revival and while he was technically dead, just back for a day. The stamina drain still affected him as seen when Super Saiyan 3 fatigued him and shortened his time on earth.

@@emersonclements5780 That's besides the point, during the beam struggle, yes Vegeta's distraction was the only reason. But it was base Vegeta, if that was enough to tip the scales between a struggle between Cell and a low power Gohan, there's no way that Cell is on par with a full power gohan. And even though Cell wasn't using his full power to break gohans arm, Gohan was focused on saving Vegeta rather then defending himself.

I do agree that this would have been impossible if Gohan and Cell weren't at least relative but Cell doing that much damage to an off guard gohan doesn't prove that he's stronger/equal, it only proves relativity. And when talking to Goku, Gohan says that "My ki has gone way down." Considering that Super Perfect Cell was about as strong as Full Power Ssj2 Kid Gohan, there's no way Mssj Goku from Buu Saga could beat Super Perfect Cell. In Buu Saga, Goku was stronger than that version of Gohan, when he went Ssj2 him self(as stated by majin Vegeta). So, if an hypotetical fight between Ssj2 Goku from Buu saga and Super Perfect Cell were to occour, Cell might put up a good fight thanks to his iq in Battle/regeneration and thecniques, but would Defenetly lose. Majin Super Perfect Cell would be a more equal fight!

Even if we lowball Buu saga Goku and say he needs SSj2 to surpass SSj2 Gohan from Cell games (which was never stated btw), it still means MSSj Goku is stronger than the 50% SSj2 Gohan that killed Super Perfect Cell in the beam struggle. So him being confident on taking on Gohan, even after what happened to him, means that he(stated by him self even in the manga) powered up Just Like Son Gohan. Also, as I said before, Gohan not taking Cell seriously resulted to him being severely injured by a blast meant for Vegeta(meaning that he underestimated his Power). If you want to talk about the manga then, as I allready said before, Cell wanted to finish things quickly, and as he was about to do It, Vegeta distracted him, making him lose focus thus weakening his Kamehameha (a thing that happened even in DBS, where Troppo was pushing 17 blast off with his own, but then he got attacked by Frieza, resulting in his blast being overpowered by Android 17, Who Is weaker than Toppo), Broly beam struggle Is an example as Well. On top of that, even if Gohan was injured, he was still able to use his full Power in the Final push, thus winning the Clash. Gohan would have Never won if It wasn't for Vegeta. Mssj Goku from Buu saga being stronger than Ssj2 Kid Gohan or Super Perfect Cell, makes no sense, as Dabura was confident on fighting them, even after seeing what Goku was capable of against Yackon(you might Say that Goku was holding back, but let's not forget that Goku briefly powered up in a burst that allowed him to kill Yackon, and Dabura was still confident taking him head on. The same burst of Power that made Vegeta realize that Goku was able to surpass the limits of Ssj as Well). Then again Vegeta statement about Goku going Ssj2 being able to surpass Gohan when he fought Cell can be interpretated as a mesure Stick for them, meaning that they both surpassed that Gohan Only in that exact Moment(when both of them went Ssj2 that Is). As for Dabura, he was compared to Cell(even tho we Don't know which Cell, considering that in both anime and Manga, Dabura didn't take Ssj Gohan seriously). And yes I think Gohan was a Regoular Ssj against Dabura, cause in the manga, Toriyama back then drew Ssj and Ssj2 aura very differently, and for the whole fight Gohan was drawn with Only a Ssj aura, while in the next chapter, Goku and Vegeta had the typical Ssj2 aggressive aura surrounded by Sparks and electricity. So I doubt that was a drawing error, but wheter he was a Ssj or Ssj2, he still was losing against a non serious Dabura(Who was Cell level). Piccolo comparing Ssj2 Majin Vegeta's Power to Ssj2 Kid Gohan means a lot, considering that as I said before, that Gohan was used as a mesure Stick(also if he were to be extremely more powerful than that Gohan, Piccolo would have used different words in both anime and manga). Agreed because as the setup for this fight shows, Goku is still dead so energy and stamina shouldn't be an issue.

MSSj Goku would've stomped Super Perfect Cell. Even if we lowball Buu saga Goku and say he needs SSj2 to surpass SSj2 Gohan from Cell games (which was never stated btw), it still means MSSj Goku is stronger than the 50% SSj2 Gohan that killed Super Perfect Cell in the beam struggle. SSj2 Goku would one-shoot Super Perfect Cell with zero issues lol

Let's not also forget that prior to that, Cell him self stated that he powered up Just Like Gohan. Also in the anime during the beam struggle Cell was toying with Gohan the whole time, and still managed to dominate him. But as soon as he was to finish Gohan up, he got distracted by Vegeta, and Gohan used everything he had to overpower Cell's awakened Kamehameha and killing him in the process(a thing that happened to Broly in the second movie as Well). In the manga, Cell wanted to finish things quaickly, no One helped Gohan but Vegeta, and again, Gohan used that opportunity fo finish Cell off for good. In both cases, if It wasn't for Vegeta, Gohan and the Z fighters would have been killed. As for Mssj Goku, he was still below Ssj2 Kid Gohan from Cell Saga. When Goku went Ssj2 against Ssj Majin Vegeta, in both anime and manga, Vegeta stated that he was stronger than Gohan when he fought against Cell, meaning that Only in that Moment, Goku was able to surpass Ssj2 Kid Gohan(After that, Majin Vegeta, proceeds to Power up into Ssj2 as Well). Then again, in the fight between Ssj2 Majin Vegeta and Majin Buu, Piccolo stated that he had not felt a Power Like that(talking about Vegeta) since Gohan's fight with Cell, meaning that prior to that, no Ssj forms were stronger than that level of Power. Goku and Vegeta would have Needed Ssj2 in order to defeat Gohan Ssj2 from Cell Saga.

Cell is arrogant, whenever he gains a power up he thinks that it makes him unbeatable. It happened with every transformation of his, this is no exception. Also Gohan had no confidence in his power, Goku had to motivate him in order to oppose Cell, so this is irrelevant.

Nobody cares about the anime my guy. The anime also suggests that Buu saga Yamucha is at least on par with MSSj Goku from Cell saga, or even Paikuhan based on how easily he dominated Olibu, and this couldn't be further from the truth. The anime introduces contradictory themes all the time.

Again, Gohan had only 50% of his maximum power during the beam struggle. The fact that Gohan's full push in these moments was too much for Cell, even if Cell got distracted momentarily, only proves how much Gohan's full power was above Cell's.

This isn't proof of anything, this only proves that SSj2 Goku is undeniably above SSj2 Gohan from Cell games. There is no claim or verbatim specifying that MSSj Goku is weaker than SSj2 Gohan. Saying that Vegeta's claim means that only as SSj2 Goku was stronger than Cell games SSj2 Gohan is just a baseless lowball.

Neither Goku or Majin Vegeta went SSj even once during the Buu saga when Piccolo could feel their ki, so this is irrelevant. The only time Goku went MSSj was in his fight against Yakon and the second time to oppose Majin Vegeta, during which Piccolo was a stone statue and couldn't perceive the reality, and Piccolo couldn't feel Majin Vegeta's regular SSj transformation either for the same reason. Also Piccolo never said such thing, he only said that Vegeta had broken through the SSj wall and was stronger than Cell games SSj2 Gohan.

This is only a speculation with no real proof, and even then, this doesn't discredit the notion that they both beat Super Perfect Cell as just MSSj. SSj2 Cell games Gohan was consistently used as a benchmark of real strength in the Buu saga, yet Cell was only used as a benchmark for Dabura to say that Dabura is a nobody to the Buu saga Goku and Vegeta
@@smaragdchaos Cell allready tasted what Gohan was capable of, and even if he Is arrogant, he Is still a smart and tactic fighter(you can see that when Goku Blasted Cell with the Kamehameha, After that in fact, he took Goku a bit more seriously). So him being confident on taking on Gohan, even after what happened to him, means that he(stated by him self even in the manga) powered up Just Like Son Gohan. Also, as I said before, Gohan not taking Cell seriously resulted to him being severely injured by a blast meant for Vegeta(meaning that he underestimated his Power). If you want to talk about the manga then, as I allready said before, Cell wanted to finish things quickly, and as he was about to do It, Vegeta distracted him, making him lose focus thus weakening his Kamehameha (a thing that happened even in DBS, where Troppo was pushing 17 blast off with his own, but then he got attacked by Frieza, resulting in his blast being overpowered by Android 17, Who Is weaker than Toppo), Broly beam struggle Is an example as Well. On top of that, even if Gohan was injured, he was still able to use his full Power in the Final push, thus winning the Clash. Gohan would have Never won if It wasn't for Vegeta. Mssj Goku from Buu saga being stronger than Ssj2 Kid Gohan or Super Perfect Cell, makes no sense, as Dabura was confident on fighting them, even after seeing what Goku was capable of against Yackon(you might Say that Goku was holding back, but let's not forget that Goku briefly powered up in a burst that allowed him to kill Yackon, and Dabura was still confident taking him head on. The same burst of Power that made Vegeta realize that Goku was able to surpass the limits of Ssj as Well). Then again Vegeta statement about Goku going Ssj2 being able to surpass Gohan when he fought Cell can be interpretated as a mesure Stick for them, meaning that they both surpassed that Gohan Only in that exact Moment(when both of them went Ssj2 that Is). As for Dabura, he was compared to Cell(even tho we Don't know which Cell, considering that in both anime and Manga, Dabura didn't take Ssj Gohan seriously). And yes I think Gohan was a Regoular Ssj against Dabura, cause in the manga, Toriyama back then drew Ssj and Ssj2 aura very differently, and for the whole fight Gohan was drawn with Only a Ssj aura, while in the next chapter, Goku and Vegeta had the typical Ssj2 aggressive aura surrounded by Sparks and electricity. So I doubt that was a drawing error, but wheter he was a Ssj or Ssj2, he still was losing against a non serious Dabura(Who was Cell level). Piccolo comparing Ssj2 Majin Vegeta's Power to Ssj2 Kid Gohan means a lot, considering that as I said before, that Gohan was used as a mesure Stick(also if he were to be extremely more powerful than that Gohan, Piccolo would have used different words in both anime and manga). Btw, could you use numbers for scaling those characters? I Just want to know how much stronger you think Mssj Goku was compared to Ssj2 Kid Gohan. Here's mine Just for examples.
