I understand what you mean. I have a 43 yr. old oak that a fungus killed and we had to cut it down, we only cut the top dead portion and kept the other half to put bird houses and petches for a feral kitty family. I named the tree Bonny Portmore😭😭

"Bonny Portmore" is an Irish traditional folk song which laments the demise of Ireland's old oak forests, specifically The Great Oak of Portmore, which fell in a windstorm in 1760 and was subsequently used for shipbuilding and other purposes.

In the first film, you had a Frenchman play a Scots ( Lambert as Conor MacLeod ) and a Scotsman play a Spaniard ( Sean Connery as Ramirez ) !
The series was a far better improvement with Adrian Paul who:
      1) Is actually Scots
      And
      2) Is a bona fide martial artist in the art of Choy Li Fit as well as Hung Gar.
Plus studied for many years prior to taking the role as a personal interest of his various sword fighting styles.
With that to say....even the writing had a chance to be consistent with character development.
      By far...

This song makes me long for Scotland. My heritage is from there. I have never been but some how this song makes me miss a place I have never been. It also hints at if I were finally there I could find peace. Just amazing how a song can do all that. Especially in world where peace seems to be disappearing. I long for a world where we all live in peace. We take care of our families and live our lives free of hatred and discourse. When you hear this song it is almost like if you close your eyes you go to that place where there is no hatred and that feeling of peace over takes you.

      Is that Highlander 6?
I mean "the source" was so god awful that I thought for sure they were done
It's probably the worst thing I've ever seen because it didn't just ruin a movie that I loved. It ruined an entire series
It was so fake and stupid that I knew they were going to kill Joe Dawson before they did because I knew they had to do something to make the audience emote and the horrible film itself was never going to do that
I think the only thing I've ever seen that came so close to disappointing me was Star Trek Percard and I believe they were actually trying to insult me with that show.
Yet somehow Highlander the source was just a little bit worse

I wonder if there is a small but significant mistake where you write about the birds 'Saying, "Where shall we shelter?"'. Listening creafully it sounds like Loreena is singing 'Sighing, "Where shall we shelter?"'. If that isn't what she is singing it should be - much more poetic.
That aside thanks very much for doing the text which brings out the sorrowful lyrics.
