You can either replace the battery in 25 yr if performance falls
It is a great watch, the only thing it lacks is multifunctional alarm unlike it's battery version.

The problem with the battery version is, it doesn't have multiple alarms, although it has multi-function alarm. Neither does it have the snooze feature for the alarm. It is problematic for travelers, because if you miss the alarm by any chance while you're deep in sleep, there is nothing to wake you up and thereby you ending up in missing your transport or assignment. It should've had the snooze at least. The solar version wins on the alarm features.

It should be 5600 cause just one reason it is worth in 2022 rather other watches are either having issues of screen diming ,light or size the 5600 is perfect.

That's because it's an identical module just that the MB6 (atomic timekeeping is removed) in 3496 module. I think it's to reduce redundancy in production. MB6 is anyway not available in India.
