Alivans made my own wand, which is ebony. Not based on any character wand, but one that is for me.
I have been looking at Alivans wands since 2006. It's about time :p
If I had to choose a career in the Wizarding World it would definitely be wandmaker. Wandlore is one of the most fascinating subjects in the Harry Potter world.

The best wandmaker imho is Koestler‘s Fine Wands from Bavaria/Germany. The wand comes in a magical box with a certificate and a spell booklet. It is so magical and beautifully made. Takes 2-4 weeks to arrive, so that’s pretty fast.
I bought “Draco’s wand” from Alivan’s waaaay back in 2011. Still have it to this day!

Hello Michael! I used to work for Orchardworks, and I have to say that everything was done to perfection and I'm happy you like your wands!! At the end of last year, Orchardworks moved out from the basement and into a property on main street! The owner is meticulous at making these wands with a rigorous inspection. He is an engineer with several patents, and infusing the wand with magic had to have been one of the hardest processes he has ever worked on. We would breakdown a whole shipment of wood if it did not fit our standards. This is because only the finest pieces of wood could become infused with magic that the wearer could use. Nonetheless! I hope you well on your adventures into the arts of magic.

NOW INTO BOOKMAKING AND WAIT UNTIL NICE OUT TO DO MORE WANDS... SO AGAIN LOVE THE VIDEOS AND WANDS OUT OF WOOD!!! I recently got myself a wooden wand made by Wilbotts Wands in London who make loads of different kinds of wands but they also offer the option to make your official pottermore wand which I went for and it turned out beautiful! Definitely think I may have to start collecting!

Nice wands =] Most of my wands are from Alivan's actually including MY OWN wand made of cedar with sort of a Lupin inspired design. I think I was looking at Alivan's around the same time as you too then I finally pulled the trigger on a choice wand just to see if I'd like them or not, my first wand from them was the red cedar/oak wand for the choice wand. I should do a new full video showing my whole wooden wand collection though as well :P

Very nice wand review. All those wands are fantastic! They were definitely made by a master wand maker. I my self am a wand maker and I recently opened my own Etsy page to sell my wands.

What bothers me about some wands is that they can be thick like a mini baseball bat
5:42 correct me if I’m wrong but I think the handle of the SS and COS Harry wand is a little shorter than that one
Yeah, that one was kind of an early attempt. The curve at the bottom of the handle is also a bit too severe, and the two rings at the top could be slightly thinner.
I’m looking into collecting wands! Do you have any suggestions for the first few?
That’s why I post so many wand review videos! So everyone can see what appeals to them the most. ☺️
You can't go wrong with with main characters, which are always easy to find from third party sellers on eBay or Facebook market place. Most of the wands in my collection I did not pay full price for. If you have a favorite character from the series, start with theirs and see where it takes you!
My first wand was queenie Goldstein wand but know I look at it I wish I got voldermorts or the elder wand first
