Side Effects (Still) From My 2nd Vaccination, Cold Sore Outbreak & Feeling Rubbish - Living With AS

Its been a rough couple of weeks as I’m still experiencing extreme fatigue following my second COVID-19 vaccination and now have a cold sore outbreak 😷. I hope you are all staying safe and keeping well and hopefully I’ll start to feel a little bit more human soon xx

My name is Susan, I live in the UK and I have been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis for over 25 years, I also have ulcerative colitis.

Best wishes to you. I just had my first Pfizer a few days ago, and noticed I’m a little more tired than usual, and deep sleep. 2nd in 3 weeks, which I’m a little nervous about.
I’ve been off all treatment for 6 months, but will be starting again soon.

I had Pfizer too and apart from the tiredness I have been fine. My husband who’s fit & well has had tiredness too so I guess it’s our immune system working which is reassuring! Good luck with your second jab and hopefully you’ll start your treatments again soon x
