Legalize grounded knees
have you seen grounded knees in pride? they just get you in north south or side control and then jump up and knee you until there's a dent in your head. out of all banned moves, that shouldn't come back
@@az1m8290Perhaps they could keep north/south and side-control knees banned, but allow them from a standing position regardless of the opponents hands being on the mat. Basically drop the rule that your hand on the mat prevents a standing knee to the head
Crazy thing is he actually has the skills to beat DDP, if hed just reign the insanity in a bit but i dont think he will.
Not sure if he needs to reign in anything, it’s more about the UFC actually giving him ranked opponents, it's getting dumb to repeatedly let him slaughter unranked fighters

Pereira took the risk that his flip-knee would hit the head of his downed opponent and he LOST that gamble. He DID illegally smash the head of his downed opponent with his knee, and he should have paid the price it. Was the ref blind? He should have immediately called a halt to the action to give Ichor a chance to recover. If he could recover, then take a point from Pereira. If he could not recover, Pereira loses by disqualification due to an illegal strike. Atrocious refereeing.

@@ReliableNewsNetwork2 He would have beaten anybody afront of him. What don't you understand? He is on a 8 fight winning streak( 5 in a row in WW) 3 in a row in MW. He would have had 9 wins in a row if it were not for the DQ loss against Diego Sanchez. He is well rounded, athletic and explosive and managing distance well, underrated scrambling & grappling. I don't think he himself understand how good he is. The only thing would be his conditioning but that is not a problem if he keeps finishing his opponents the second he gets them hurt. He checks too many boxes. I've been on the train since 2020. Everybody is now realizing that Michel is no joke. Future champ for sure.

People just came to this card to complain. Nothing wrong with the knee it clearly didn't land on his head and it had no impact in the fight.
Being in control of your weapons is literally in the rule book... Blindly flipping onto a grounded opponent should be banned, period. The move is stupid. It's a question of when, not if, that strike will hurt someone unnecessarily.
