Do you keep on low flame when you are mixing in the glycerin syrup, liquid glucose, shortening and vanilla essence? Or do you just mix in the pan with no flame?

I mix it on low flame.. don't add hot liquid mixture in icing sugar..
Let it cool for 2, 3 minutes . Then add in icing sugar.
