The current exo rune should be a baseline QoL book and the the exo rune should be replaced with new rune that removes the exo cd but gives it a casttime to enable such a playstime you image. Shockadin is by far the most fun i had in SoD p3. In video games and other forms of rpg, i usually tend toward bruiser character (tanky, self sustained, damage dealers) with some support. Paladin was an obvious pick. I currently play my shockadin in full ret gear, and im loving how i can support my friends in 5 man. In my group of friends, we have a player that only wants to tank and one that's usually always heal, but now with my shockadin he can play shadow priest and we tag team the healing. We both have more fun playing like that and we develop our own little strategy to keep the group alive. Anyway, for a ranged spec for paladin i think we could get a rune that remove the cd on exo but it adds a cast time. Maybe art of war or infusion of light could make it instant. Maybe exo could proc some seals also, imagine having seal of the martyr procing from range with each exo? Or seal of command procing a second exo. I think the seal to enable the range dps should be gloves, that's kinda where you choose your role anyway.
thanks for the detailed comment and suggestions! personally the "strength healer" build is a favorite of mine as well and I hope that the p4 changes can leave that part of it intact!
i've had the thought about "ranged shockadin" as well, makes sense there are some "dead runes" that could be reworked and, while i know this would be opposed writ large, paladins could get "wild card" rune slots (i.e. on rings). let's be real, we're working with the vanilla toolkit as a baseline, and paladins need it. alternatively, while i know they're working with the same client as era and blah blah blah, they DID put in improved blessings and i think that could help out paladins specifically as well. one thing i keep coming back it is resistance for dispelling.
Ranged shockadin is wild! Love the content dude keep it up. I feel like ret is what needs to change to like the divine storm meta and shockadin can still be this exo/hs spam build. Maybe swap divine storm and infusion rune slots and let hs give mana back when it crita doing damage too. Give divine storm/cs ap scaling to replace sheath of light for ret players idk
Imo Blizzard just fucked up by mixing ret with shockadin, right now you can even ask if the ret is the better shockadin. Same goes for tank, why play a protpally if a shoackadin and or retpally can do it better?
tbh shockadin exists and u can easily farm solo for example winterfall firewater, im able to 1v4 57-59lvl mobs or solo farm 60lvl mobs for recipes. the key is knowledge how to build it and play it and i dont think ppl want to share with it. its not for pvp/pve its just farming spec, maybe offheal for pvp with decent ammount od dmg

SoR should be a spell crit. Sheath of Light should increase SP from INT or STR.

Since when did SoR start proccing art of war? As far as i know they only made it crit, not proc art of war
it was a day or two after they allowed it to crit there was a hotfix, it's also making fiery weapon and weap spell procs trigger art of war
