This has one of the best scent profiles I've smelled in a long time. Boozy Spiced Rum with Vanilla powder. It's like a red velvet spice cake made with Captain Morgan. While marketed unisex this one is more so for the gentleman.

I am wearing this today. The scent takes me back to my childhood when my mother made blackberry jelly. The whole house had a sweet, fruity smell. Good choice on this one.

It might be the powder and cognac (sweet booze) combination you are smelling, cognac being distilled wine is a little sweet in theory so the perfumer probably used some kind of molecule that best mimicked the natural scent. I do see where you're coming from about the cherryish smell though. Thanks for sharing your experience! ✌ ☺

If your a senior I'd say definitely, also this could work as a cooler night scent. But i would not wear this in the high heat. The powdery booze could be unpleasant if the weather is too warm.
