The graphics looked so better for me at the time.
back then I'm just admiring how good the graphics is and the animations as well. As a kid I didn't understood how to play it or how to progress but yeah the graphics is good one of the best during the ps1 era
Me too, Beast was my nightmare he really scared me when i was a kid, specially because he fights like a monkey or somenthing like that
They were on a CRT TV and it was already innovative. And fighting games always have the best graphics.

lol this game, I remember this mostly for the fact that every match I played against a sibling or friend was against magneto, which was a character so overpowered that only a mirror match was fair

Why exactly was this called Mutant Academy? Doesn't that have the connotation that they're trying to recruit young mutants? Every character in this game is a seasoned veteran.
The mutant academy is the name of the school they are from. Professor X's school

+Ernest Ross Wyatt It might be a bad disc. That has happen to me with Street Fighter Alpha 2 on Playstation. Their is either Audio Skipping in the background or some stages do not have any background music at all.
