- Saturday August 3rd 2013 at 3.40 pm. The 13.05 London to Weymouth (16.00) train pulls into Moreton station and the 15.20 Weymouth to London (18.20) train pulls out. This is about a mile east of Crossways level crossing and between the two the line becomes a single track. Moreton is a small Dorset village of 270 people 130 miles from London. Despite its enviable train service to London, just 90 people a day use this station on average which is 2 people per train. After the first train has gone the audible warning changes and a recorded voice says "Warning another train is approaching". Inevitably its said when there isn't another train approaching.
another one where i can find a person talking when the alarm goes off is that wareham foot crossing
Those small two barrier level crossings, you don't have to wait as long as the four barrier crossings
I know in the southwest of London and poutsmouth they have loads of level crossings
That barrier is really slow compared to the other. The crossing used to have thin borders on the lights for some reason as well
that bell is different to when i was there once
rare to find a person talking while the level crossing is down
This is an e2s alarm it plays voice warnings

it is called an E2S alarm no idea what it stands for I have got that alarm on youtube with the voice on it there very good alarms and only fitted on automatic half barrier crossings. there are a few manually controlled with that alarm but I don't know why it did that.
