Power is the ability to influence the behaviours of others to get what you want, which they would not otherwise have done. Great powers are a handful of states possessing power or the resources of power asymmetrically. The great powers have the world's largest militaries and economies. Their power rests on the constituents such as healthy economy, plentiful natural resources, educated population thereby skilful labour force, advanced technology and etc. The dominance of such great power is beyond their immediate locality. They are the powerful, active and assertive players in the global political system, including international trades.
