Cascais is a coastal city, located just a 30 minute drive away from Lisbon. Ever since it has been the place where Portuguese royalty would spend their summer holiday and with that attract many members of Portuguese nobility over time. Nowadays that wealth can be seen in all the beautiful architecture throughout the city.
With these things to do in Cascais you get away from the busy touristic hotspots of Lisbon and get to know yet another side of the Portugal!

I am planning to visit Lisbon in coming October where Cascais is not in the itinerary. After seeing your video, with so much beautiful coastal sceneries, I have changed my plan to allocate a full day driving tour there. thank you very much for sharing

I spent a day in cascais in November 2019, cabo da roca and the town were absolutely breathtaking. But from this video, it seems like I have many more places to cover. Hope to be back again one day!

Dear Steve, what I have seen here is probably one of the most visually inspiring and impressive materials from recent years. Besides, I will be visiting Cascais in a few weeks, my only doubt and dilemma at the moment is how exactly reach and visit these places (specifically Boca do Inferno and Cabo da Roca) when I arrive here by train from Lisbon. Is there a public transport option or most of the places we saw in the video are within walking distance in the Cascais region? Thank you and my greatest appreciation for the completed video.

Great tips! I am going to visit lisboa in a few weeks and defenitly want to go to guincho and cascais to try surfing! Do you recommend a car or is it also possible to go to those places with bus or sth else? I really want to go to the west point and guincho beach... 😅

Yes, if you don't stay at a surf camp that offers transportion I'd highly recommend a car to get to the various surf spots!
