The C62, the much debated machine. Some loved them and others said "if you want a walker Gleaner, buy an L". The C62 didn't make much sense under the Gleaner name as they always advertised "down front threshing", "Short travel distance of the crop", and "Others are adapted threshing machines with high and dry cylinders, Gleaner is a combine with down front threshing".
Wonder what it would be in capacity comparison if they did the true Gleaner conventional and added 12 inches to the L cylinder width making it 60 inches and the rest upgraded to match.
Interesting Gleaner offer C series unlike then MF rebadged A series later on which proved popular here in Australia 6 Gleaner to 1 MF n I know because at the time I was talking to head MF people. MF left sour taste to Aussie farmers which had been loyal to brand like my Pa but 80’s, short on parts, Canadian MF 860, Canadian design of 3342 instead of Australian Taylor design which was far superior this lead farmers away from MF to Gleaner. Glad to see Gleaner stick to there design n improve over time.
Nothing on the tape, or case I rarely ever find credits for these I think only one of the 16mm Allis ones I have had the film company's name on the thread up part of the filmstrip.
This video taught me
Something even I didn’t know was that gleaner made conventional combines !

There were a number of the C62 around here in central Alberta. You do see them as well as its MF counterpart, the 8680, occasionally.
Man Gleaners have aged like fine wine
I worked at a machine shop in Independence, Missouri, around that time. I watched Gleaners being hauled off on flat beds.

I know that narrator's voice. Are there any credits on the tape?
