Building Up A Model Railway S1 Ep 23 | Restoring my 29 year old model Henry

  • On my fourth birthday I was lucky enough to get a hand made present from my father. I remember opening it and that was 29 years ago now. The engine Is Henry the Green Engine from the well known series 'Thomas The Tank Engine' I was in love with all of the characters when I was little and with the rediscovery of the hobby all these years later It was great to get him working. I had tried to use him a few weeks ago but he didn't move and just made some electrical smells so I felt a service was in order and after doing the diesels on the last video I had some confidence.
So have a watch I hope you enjoy the process and If you have any old Locos that this gives you the confidence to have a go.

@Darío Nicolás Bermudez Luna hello, as I’ve explained to many others my Father made for me 30 years ago and I won’t be changing it at all as it’s how he gave it to me. If I make my own version then I will do something more towards how Henry looks.
