I saw them in 2008 at Oxegen in Ireland. Still one of the greatest gigs of my entire life. They were playing the MTV stage, and The Killers were on the main stage. It was completely stupid, because 90% of the attendees had come for Daft Punk. The main stage was nearly empty, while the crowd from the MTV stage spilled over as far back as the Dance Arena. I went with about 40 people from my home town (we were all about 18 years old). Lost everyone in the first 5 minutes of the show, found a new crowd of people, joined a big dance circle, holding hands, singing together. At the first break literally everyone asked at the same time "so do you guys all know each other?". Turns out NONE of us did, and it was just the power of the music that brought us all together in such a way that EVERYBODY that THEY were the random person in the group, and the rest were lifelong friends LMAO

I was lucky enough to be one of the few thousand people there that night. I've always been disappointed that the footage of it is almost all quite crappy. This is awesome work.
I was 24 in back 2007 (yes, I'm old now). Even then, we had a feeling that this was a special show. Fast forward to today, and yep, it's one of the best gigs of my life. I'm unlikely to see a better show in my lifetime. And I'm just fine with that :)

I never got the opportunity to attend one of their live tours, but man, the lengths I would go to just to have a chance at going for the first time.
Just imagine... being there with a huge crowd, everyone just vibing and dancing and jumping without giving a flying fuck what anyone is doing, the rays of light illuminating the dark night, screams of celebration, meeting new people and making friends as Daft Punk blasts their god-level music all the way to the moon. Now that would be the night of a lifetime, and it's a dream for now.
