Beautiful Camaro, sounds great and all...but why would anyone pay $48000 for a car that mechanics refuse to work on because parts are hard or impossible to get? For $48000 I can get a 3 year old Suburban or Tahoe, personally I would go for an Expedition. And they have all the bells and whistles. I confess I prefer SUVs over cars, and understand that the Camaro is a Classic and all, but is still a 55 year old car, and the parts are an ordeal to get. I drive a 2017 Ford Explorer Sport, and my little V6 3.5 Liter Ecoboost puts out close to 420hp, so it at least matches the performamce of that Camaro, and can go off road amd do very well in snow and ice.
And my Explorer has 286000 miles and still runs like new. $48000 for a car I can only drive sparingly? Classic collector or not....pffft!🤣🤣🤣🤣
You clearly no nothing about classic cars or there following. You can get parts for this camaro or chevelle or mustang more easy then your suburban. And your car will lose money Value ever year. These go up in value. And if your not interested in the car why say anything at all !!!!!
@@musclecarsforsaleinc My friend, I was born in 1964, I know about classic cars, by the time I was 18,(1982), those were the cars selling for $500 at the car lots, lol. My first car was a 1972 Checker cab with a Chevy 350 engine and a 3 speed tranny, and got 9 miles to the gallon, and if I was going to get a Classic, the Checker would be it. However, I would rip the engine, tranny amd suspension out, replace it with a Detroit Diesel engine, the new 10 speed tranny from GM, magnetic suspension, and have all the bells and whistles of modern cars, like traction control, bluetooth, climate control, gps, cruise control, etc... then I would pay $90k by the time it was done, and that is fine. Do not get me wrong, I love classics too, my other faves are the Chevelle and the AMC Javelin. A lot of my friends are mechanics, and they refuse to work on classics because is hard to get parts, as you have to special order them. You cannot go to O'Reilly's for them. Yeah, today's SUVs and modern cars depreciate, but in 55 years, they will be the classics, I will be dead by then.
I am not dogging the Camaros or other classics, that is a blasphemy punishable by death, lol, as the main advantage of the classics is that the body was 4 gauge steel (A tank), and mine is 16 gauge steel, i.e a coke can, lol. But with stock everything, my SUV outperforms a Classic. However, if I was going for performance today, I would go for the new Corvette, with about 700 hp, and all the modern conveniences.

I've owned a few muscle cars (old and new). A 1968 Firebird 400, 1970 Camaro, 1974 Camaro, 1979 Firebird, 1984 Camaro Z28, 2011 Inaugural Edition Challenger SRT8, 2015 Challenger SRT.
I've also owned several trucks. My Dodge Ramcharger and RAM Power Wagon were favorites. But it's comparing apples to oranges. You truly cannot compare a utility vehicle versus a purpose built muscle car. With classic cars, generally, parts can be plentiful and inexpensive. Of course there are some that are rare, making parts scarce. It can also apply to rare trucks. So your argument is weak at best. Until you drive a muscle car with 350hp to 500hp, you'll never know that feeling that only a muscle car (or exotic) can give you.
You can still buy a Fox Body Mustang or a 80's or 90's Camaro/Firebird for pretty cheap.
Of course you can always build a bad ass truck to go fast and give you that experience. But if you're about trucks and SUVs, not muscle cars, more power to you knowing what you like.🙂👍

Btw, I just paid $800 for a rear hatch latch repair on my Ford Edge. I wouldn't call that inexpensive. 😮
