Today is 9th of Sept 2023 and I’m still listening to this song. I remembered when she released it then. I felt in love with the song and I liked Salawa the more. I’m happy for how her life has turned out well. God will continue to protect and provide for you Queen Salawa Abeni. Your story is a testimony to everyone that one can become something from nothing.
Salawa really put much effort to be relevant in her music. She so compete well as d only woman in this line of music. Most women don't survive in this genre of music but she did. With her challenges in life she is just a strong woman that need to be celebrated
Her music reminds me of my young adult time and her hard work the only one her kind music (WAKA) Such a happy time in Nigeria full of happy memories. Long life ma.
Am happy for this lady. I basically grew up with her listening to her as far as when she was 12 years old and NTA Lagos featured and interviewed her and, I have loved her and her music ever since.
