Yes, these two guys are very sympathetic in all interviews when they are together! As actors they are very talented and ambitious to perfection, but in their discussion, they are still "Alex and Henry", always arguing, contradicting, teasing... This is probably their real way of behaving with each other!
Nic I was happy to find this in the hopes you may actually see this expression of appreciation. Thanks to you and Taylor for this movie. You both made the characters real. Saw this with my hubby 2 weeks ago and in the first week watched this literally 30 times, a few with hubby curled in bed. All the rest solo. Easily double that now but stopped the counting. Gay since 4 yrs old and seen quite a lot, and the 2 of you in your acting made the interactions authentic. I really hope you get awards on top of awards for this performance. Hoping for a sequel. Also planning on watching as much of your other stuff.

You two fellas are lots of fun. You may be very surprised to learn the book 1st, and now this movie has a following among LGBTQ people who are significantly older then you, and considering the mess we traveled through in life it's really something just to still be here. When I came along, and where I came along in the US you really couldn't be out and open, not if you wanted to keep your job, apartment, pay bills, and be even partially accepted anywhere in what was in any way respectable society outside a gay bar. You had to be careful about those I mean a raid and it was over. Being a teen, just let's not begin to go back there it was really rough and well, almost impossible. If you couldn't get away or didn't know how you were stuck with a secret everybody knew but you didn't dare confess. This book, made more powerful by the movie and your willingness to portray some of "us" was truly like a gay fairytale with a happy ending that almost no literature that could be found much less movies of our time ever saw. It doesn't sound like much now, happy endings are everywhere in your literature but not so much in ours of the past. It was nice to be able to just watch this and breath a little, just as you are, authentically. Man would something like this have been a God send back in those days. Doesn't sound like much today but for those of us of a different era it's incredible and you probably never imagined it would be. Thanks for being willing. Thanks for letting us laugh more than cry and say "awe that's fun and really nice" in the end, meant a lot to all of us especially even us older guys who never thought any one would care enough to bring it about. People want you to do another because they are so touched by it. I see your tired of hearing it and it's time for you to move on happily in your careers so do that and enjoy, but remember you could do a lot worse then having people like your work so much they want to see you do it again. You made us pull for your characters and now many of us want to see what that brought about. I imagine revisiting now could seem kind of boring and been there done that, for you so I get it. Stay friends guys can't have too many of the real kind. Taylor teach him how to surf, Nick teach him how to.....I don't know make bubble and squeak or something authentically British, spotted dick would start too many unwanted rumors but whatever(What were you Brits thinking with that one?) Thanks again truly the acknowledgement means more than words could begin to tell you both. Have a really good life and enjoy your careers!
