- The 2019 Holley EFI Shootout at King of the Hammers in Johnson Valley, California, sure was a good time! They picked a way better hill this year and it lead to a ton of carnage and rollovers. It might not have been Backdoor but it was equally as difficult. Rock bouncers stole the show again as only a couple Ultra4 rigs even attempted the climb. Yano love this stuff. I just can't do it in my daily driver, I did last weekend an kicked the hell out of it. Took the driver side wheel right off broke all kinds of stuff, had to strap logs on it to get it down the hill and tow it home. Rebuilt it the next day and drove it to work today . Epic! You guys rock! Now I just need to learn to build it like you do so it isn't so fragile.

Back in the 80's there were 13- 15 buggies running the roads, back when the law didn't mess with us much. We would climb some big hills and mountains but many we couldn't with our 4 cly motors and 2 wheel drive, just imagine what we could of did with these set ups. These are awesome.

Trying to to understand the culture behind the language. I find the announcers quite annoying (to me) but I reach back to my education and etiquette and say okay they aren't talking to me (language code). It's no different than the various musical genres {yup, here come the replies "you call that musik?!} So I can keep watching without hitting that mute button. Replies such as 'keeps the crowd in it' okay lets have a looksee at the crowd--copy that; 'they are awesome even better in person'--human touch good good, along with 'that's how they get cheered up and feel better'--copy on that also. All other negative replies to a comment (again it's that dang perception thingy hangin) fail to educate but that doesn't mean those folks that reply in that manner aren't educated (wait, whut?) lmao. Your reply is a perfect way how to communicate--now let me stop crab typing and get back to the show!

I wish the announcers would not feel like they had to keep talking every minute. Why can't they be quiet while the run is being made and do the commentary between races? Their talking is so useless and mind numbing. Usually I love watching the bouncers race but I can't take these guys. Will catch the next one. Miss you Matt!!

At one of the climbs, with Binoculars it almost looked like the roof Panels betwee. The reason I'll cage we're curved solar panels????? First one was a 2 seater, 2nd one was a 4 but only had 2 guys in full camp as well: they also has HALF doors of some sort , at one point the 4 seater driver gets out and his door opens like a car door but it's an armored door,..or crazy thick for no reason, lol the 4 seater had a little optics device that looked like the same ones on The new upgraded Apache attack helicopter . No sure if it was. Weapons system painter for long range air to ground smart weapons or if it was more for heat sensor observation. Either way they had he ability to climb like the best of these but were silent,...for those that can drive these, the US DOD may have a good $300k /year job available soon for e Leto vex sxs drivers . Whoever was driving g both of these was insanely good . He 4 seater had theSe platform like edge panels x my guess is if u were settings the 2 rear seats the yeoulf make. snipers Perch you could comfortabley line your .50 Barrett down range and actually be sitting, using a tripod by having g armored panels 369 degrees around armpits down.
