I found the photo list to be most helpful as a checklist. Instead of a cheap plastic garbage can, get a metal can and lid to double as a faraday cage. Attach a good dolly with really good wheels. Invest in your safety. Or throw the garbage can into a wheelbarrow. Add a full sized shovel and pick-axe.
Also, Feminine products are great bleeding control devices. I live in an area where there are a lot of shootings, so I keep a good supply of tampons in my bag, even though I'm a man. You never know when you might need them.
how in the world you going to carry all that stuff if you have to hike out . wife and i love to hike/camp . longest we were camping/hiking was 5 days . rethink/do your list/gear . thumbs down .
