Huge respect and admiration, Simon is an inspiring sailor and gentleman.
A classy man.
first video I've seen of anybody in the Southern Ocean, gives a new meaning to 'rock and roll' , can't wait to see the others; bravo everybody as usual!
I could listen to Simon for hours, what a guy
Huge fan of Simon... He & Kirsten are definitely my two favourite competitors.
A real pity about the windvane later on but a truly gracious man.
Great video Simon. Thanks for sharing these great momento of your endeavor.
.....amazing....
as always it seems, well spoken.
hes just going to have to enter the next one.
Great sailor 🎉
It was kind of ironic seeing the clear shot of Simon's Hydrovane in the last scene, knowing now that it would soon fail him 😮💨
Great!!
Cheers Simon,😊😊😊
Very good.
Great man
Very clear and informative Simon thankyou
Great footage. Inspiring stuff. Safe journey home 👍🏁.
Go Simon, the force is with you...get Cpt Tantrum
Nice cool guy👍
Geez this vid is at least 3 months old.
Love the inflatable globe!
Just wondering why GGR seems to be rooting against Kirsten. The reports often seem to down play her lead in the race.
Question- in storm conditions while streaming warps what technique is used to add weight and not chafe the line?
What a great shot with all sails set , A real bone in her teeth .
Something as essential as a wind vane and with the technology we have today to make it that way…it should be as durable as the fiberglass hull! Just saying.
I stopped following the event when Simon pulled out.
He’d be about 3500 from the finish right now!
