Hands down. One of the most incredible singers ever. I saw her in concert back in the early 2000. Every song she sang, the notes she hits, the power in her voice. I was in awe. I don’t care about all the fancy gowns and fancy backdrops. I just want to be blown away by singers who sing like this!!!!

She was only 22 here, but she acts like she lived the life of a person who has been loved and who's loved many for many years. Shows how much instinctive maturity she had in her vocals and expressions to pull that off. This is by far her best song and her performance is divine.

Power 106 is how I first discovered this song. In the mid 90's Celine Dion exploded big time, especially after 'Falling Into You'. This one was played a lot at late night or sometimes in the 6 am hours. I always wondered which album this was on. My brother use to buy these Muscle & Fitness magazines and they had the Columbia House ads in them with the buy 12 CD's value. I would see this thumbnail of the Unison album, but finding that album locally was near impossible. It wasn't until a decade later, a close friend who since passed on had gotten a relative to buy the CD abroad for them. It was so surreal, she loaned me the CD for a week. When I discovered 'If there was any other way' on it, I was like wow! That was another one I often heard on the radio back in the 90s.

Agree 100% and to add my 2 ¢ she truly has great timing and her cadence is truly exceptional. I.m.o. considering the theatrics and vocals, this is her best. And I'm just gonna keep it 100% the director of this video performance has really created a masterpiece. The whole being taped at a concert but how the camera pans in close to her and the very great timing of her mannerisms literally tell a story just looking at her. The only other female singer (i.m.o.) to have the such a powerful cadence and impeccable timing is Diana Ross. Now don't get me started with her. She was the SUPREME female when it's comes to timing and cadence and delivery. Diana was so ahead of everyone else. She could hold the attention from a background. And her theatrics and mannerisms are still to this day untouchable

Facial expression, I mean she is putting everything into the words to express the meaning of love. You can feel it deeply. A timeless classic. I always have this unique scenario that runs through my head when I hear singing Ike this. A long time ago musicians and artists were presented to kings and queens and other royalty. There would be a huge gathering and people would come from all around to see the guest of the magistrate. Imagine Celine singing this in front of a massive court of people in the 14/15 hundreds and she just belts this song out. Imagine the stunned audience. It would be blow the wigs off their heads!

I told my friends about this song and her in the early 90s. Told them she is going to be a big hit. I bought her albums and would listen to them every night. They didn't believe me at the time, but as you all know, she's one of the biggest devas for the past 30 years!
