I have a truck for shorting the strap! You can cinch it on the inside by pulling the two straps together. Just like those clips they sell for bra straps to make an X with the straps.
Not sure if that makes sense but it does bring it up a bit higher!

Such a gorgeous bag! I wanted to get it in this colour but I’m worried that I’m going to get it dirty :( so I think I should go for the black to be on the safe side 😂
Tbh I was really worried about colour transfer/getting it dirty but it's been fine so far and I've had it for quite a few months now... although I do think the bag in black would look stunning contrasted with the gold hardware!! 😍

I think the iPad Pro will be slightly too long for the Small Loulou, as it’s only 23cm across, and just over 18cm tall 🥺 I recently got the Puffer Loulou in Small and it will definitely fit in that - will be putting a video out on it soon with size comparisons too 💞
Does it fit an a5 notebook? I really want to fit just my planner, phone, charger, cards and lipbalm 👀
Yes it would (although depends how thick your notebook is) - the bag is 25x17x9CM and a standard A5 notebook is 21x14.5CM

Would you recommend this loulou or the YSL puffer?
I personally love the puffer more for the casual aesthetic, but the Loulou is hardier and more classic. Really depends on what you'll be using it for and your existing collection.

Does it fit a 325ml water bottle?
I think it will depend on the shape of the bottle, because of the divider in the middle it'll be harder to fit anything too wide in. I've actually got a flat 325ml one that fits though! xx
What is the name of the color ?
The colour is called “Dark Beige” on the UK site, I’m not sure if it’s different elsewhere xx

I absolutely love this colour! To be honest, I think it depends on your existing collection - if you already have a few classic black bags, why not try the beige? I also think the YSL's neutral beige is also easier to pair with clothing/jewellery hardware (as opposed to say the more purple Valentino beige). Both are beautiful, classic colours - let me know what you decide xx

I bought the lou lou in grey and loved your review. Perhaps u can shorten the strap when using it crossbody by tying part of the strap with the string/ribbon n hide it inside. My SA gave me that tip along with some strap/ribbon from YSL itself!!
