Many people in the comment section don't know anything about business affairs. What he said isn't wrong. If they are able to buy it. They become owners, gain income and interest, send those same income back to Ghana to build and invest or even give to their families who buy here in Ghana. Then, the revenue of the country pushes up because of the amount of money coming into the economy. You're bashing him cos all you think is negativity. Get educated Ghanaians.

These buildings weren't originally built for Ghanaian's or any other refugees to take over. The buildings were built as part of the Mitchell-Lama program for working New Yorkers to have affordable housing. There were strict requirements stating applicants had to be employed and be current residents of New York to be offered an apartment. How a group of people that most likely aren't even U. S. citizens got apartments there is crazy.

Who will be the care taker of that property and how many of them will pay rent for the Government? Low income people ate all the time packed in tower blocks with high risks, this cannot generate any income for Ghana..

I don't think you guys really get what he said. Ghanaian government investing in such a structure with the help of three thousand Ghanaian citizens will generate more income for Ghana than the so called useless ministries we have in Ghana where we have lots of lazy workers. Income generated through the power of the dollar can create more jobs and infrastructures in Ghana. Why do Nigerians, Lebanese, South Africans and even the Chinese have businesses in Ghana? They clearly see the opportunity so they take advantage of it. You guys calling someone dumb makes you rather look worse.

I like the way you started so i thought u were lil bit sensible but I realized that
U are not. Plz Let your Doctor change your medication for you.
There is a saying that if a mad man comes to take your clothes while in the bath house, there is no need to go after him with your nakedness else u will be assumed the mad person.
No he never said government put those sturcures.
The US is pure capitalist country and everything is owned by individuals and/ or the private sector.
Ghana is a mixture of capitalist and social democrats so even though the private sector are encouraged, government must also provide for the citizens.
In a country where Banks are folding up and interest rates are high and governments are competing with the private sector for loans, how do u expect the individuals to achieve?
Wasn't the government that started the SSNIT housing projects?
What has happened to the housing projects under constructed by Ex presidents Kuffour's and Atta Mills?
I rest my case, But when u looking for the idiot person, stand in front of your dressing mirror and u will see the Real idiot.
      KwaSiaaa man like that!
