It's really common in Andhra to have parrupu podi in all chutneys and pickles (we call it pachadi). It s not only for Irfan its a tradition of that restaurant where they teach their customers how to mix. Earlier there used to have person who demonstrates how to mix podi, pachadi or pickle. I have been a patron of this shop for very very long time as they the place always have vibes of capsulating old Madras vibes.
