This is a very minimalist method for mobile saddle hunters. We are showing you exactly how we climb into large trees with minimal equipment, cost and effort.
This method may not be for everyone, but think of it as another tool in your arsenal. Please watch until the end as there's a lot of information on DRT climbing technique that we believe is one of the safest, quietest, least expensive ways to climb a tree for saddle hunting. Please remember that climbing of any kind is inherently dangerous. The DRT climbing method has been a standard in the arbor industry for 100 years. But remember It's only safe if you do it right. Ensure your knots are tied correctly and make sure you set every knot before you get off the ground. This is our method that we use in saddle hunting, but only do what makes you comfortable and do this at your own risk.

I got my 9.5 line about 2 months ago or longer. It feels great. Can't wait to try it out this weekend. We've had a brutal winter with 7 months of snow. It's been so icy that it's hard to even walk. I'm going to be using it to DRT climb & it's a nicer lighter option to the Predator 11.4 rope which I've used a couple of different versions with to climb since each system is on a different rope. Can't wait to test it out. Just 1 more cool night left.

Do you need a linesman for Srt?
Thanks for all your videos. I saw the CT Quick Roll has two certifications, one for 10-13mm ropes and the other for 8-13mm ropes. Is it ok to use a 9 or 9.5mm rope with it?

@@NYSaddleHunter do you guys have the illustrated instructions and every thing I need if I ordered your srt kit it's a little confusing to just look at video and try to figure all the knots and stuff.
@@outdoorsman9384 don’t have illustrated instructions. But we can do a breakdown video of anything your interested in on our website if your looking for a bit more details. Either system is quite simple to setup. This was just a quick demonstration of what’s new.
