The only thought I constantly have is that I haven't studied BTech, and no matter what I do it just won't ever be enough!
So so so *100 thank you for this video, same all things happen to me even happening, but moral of this video is May be I shall get a job one day in google. I want to start a new journey by coding to make my life better but i am confuse because i take physical as a additional subject instead of computer so what can i do coding or a job in big high tech companies ...
so here is some advice, if you just started doing dsa and are confused with which language you will be coding, you can definitely try doing python, but those who are doing dsa for above 1 or 2 months now, please don't change the language unless you feel comfortable on it. Rest depends on you.

I'm currently in my 3rd year of Civil Engineering. I've made my mind to switch into IT field and aiming to get into product based companies. I want to ask that coming from Civil what is my chances of growth in IT field compare to Computer science or IT students? And what should be my approach towards this career to get placed into good companies?

lot of people thinks that doing DSA in Python is difficult and even i have felt that, so what do you guys suggest should i switch to C++ for DSA
I would think no, because in my opinion python is the best language to learn DSA.
I have myself done that and still doing that, but what I would say is you should be good at reading syntex of C++ or java, not whole syntex but basics of it, because sometimes some questions solutions are only present in these languages but that doesn't mean Python is any less.
In python one doesn't have to think much about syntex and they can focus on logic rather than syntex
If you want resources of where to learn dsa in python I can give you what I have followed
