Yeah. I love this guy.
Lol him adressing putting out first singles that fans initally don't like INTENTIONALLY! I felt both validated and personally attacked. This man is so aware of himself and his art and communicates it so well it's not only a delight to watch but also very inspiring.
I love that he said it, I always wonder why some singers choose some of the best songs on the album as lead singles, but now I understand they put something different to keep fans excited for the album.
I don’t feel like Bad Habits is his “best song” by miles… tbh, I don’t even like it. But that’s just me! To each their own. I just feel like he’s written way better songs, still, I am glad he said this :) I’m looking forward to his album. He’s an incredible musician and vocalist.

He is right though, I do not love “Bad Habits”, lol but it was insightful to hear his reasons and intentions behind it. I am excited that it is not representative of the rest of the album though and I can’t wait to hear it!

I love Ed, but I honestly didn't like the band aspect. I wanted to love it, but I felt like when I heard it, that Ed was so much better than the band. With all do respect..not dissing the talented band members at all. Something just felt disconnected for me. I appreciated this interview and as always love Ed to bits! I hope he continues to think on the whole band aspect before he fully commits to it.
