Now finally the AEW women's division is looking hot. Keep up the good work
I’m so happy about Kris possibly ready to return. She was backstage at a recent taping as seen on BTE so she must be training again. It appears she has that SuperCena mutagen. She also looked very happy appearing on Brandi’s cooking show last month. People still want her to stop being an alien but LOL. She does not want to be another vanilla wrestler. If Shida doesn’t have an opponent for Revolution, it would make sense for Kris to be her next challenger. I still have no high hopes for AEW to put her in a helpful storyline though. They should have had a better plan than signing more talent. Was there any point to having Red Velvet lay out Nyla with a chair all those weeks ago?
I definitely want to see Kris Statlander return, too. She was one of the wrestlers who made me want to watch AEW each week.
As for Red Velvet laying Nyla Rose out with a chair...well, I can only speak for myself, but it made me feel.pretty good(lol).
As far as Velvet doing that it was all about what happened to her and Brandi and this is why she is stepping up against Jade.
I think you're getting ahead of yourself. The injury she sustained usually takes close to a year to recover. I would say Double or Nothing as best time frame... maybe.
I agree with you about AEW in need of a better plan for the women's division in general. I mean, it feels like purpose is still missing. What's the reason behind most of their feuds? Britt had no reason to attack Thunder Rosa, but she's been doing it for quite some time and they keep going at each other week after week without explanation. Why is Vickie with Nyla if they're not doing anything relevant? I'm waiting for the day AEW will have a huge segment with their entire women's division talking about a revamp, make the women form stables, work and improve their gimmicks... everyone seems to be so out of place, the champion is an amazing wrestler who don't do half of the things she used to do in Japan... it's hard to watch. I see women with a lot of potential but everytime they appear on TV it looks like a wrestling match showcase and that's it. I see they're slowly trying to give us storylines but they still have a loooong way to go. Men's division everyone feels important even after a loss. Feuds like Brandi vs Allie Britt vs Bea, Britt vs Swole etc led them to nowhere. Not even the women tag team tournament winners feel like a big deal. I believe it will be the same for Britt vs Rosa too. As for Kris, I love her but I feel they won't do anything good with her when she returns.
@@matirods It's clear to me that AEW has a weekly budget and not everyone can be there each week. They thought they had to sign new talent in order to improve ratings when there was actually nothing wrong with what they had. They have no creative team, so rather than trying to focus on storytelling they have to rely on surprise debuts to keep fans interested. The feud between Rosa & Baker is very basic with nothing major developing. I have to disagree on men being important when they lose. Brian Cage for example when his manager practically turned heel on him.
