- Happy Swiss National Day! We wanted to celebrate by inviting some of our American friends to Stable in Washington DC to try some of our favourite traditional Swiss foods. Our pick is fondue, what’s yours?

„And if they don’t like it, we’re going to take that very personally“
As you should.
Swiss Food is home to me.
Rivella being made with whey is always a big suprise for people. 🙂
Also would have been great if you served them Rösti, just to flex on their hash browns.
So funny watch this as a Swiss guy 😅
Swiss fondue: Vacherin and Gruyère from Gruyères, Fribourg (in the french part of Switzerland!)
"worst-case Salat" haha
Unser Essen ist köstlich und voller Käse. Raclette ist absolut lecker. Einen schönen 1. August!!
apart from the fondue, everything else is very swiss german typical meals. In the french part of switzerland, the menu would be different. In Ticino different as well. A french speaking swiss guy
Fondue, Raclette or Zürcher Geschnetzeltes (and the Wurst Salat) and Hornli
💖
I miss Switzerland, I've been eating like shyt in the US 😢
Well done video ^^
En guete mitenand!😌
the blondie with the glasses is such a cutie
I don't wanna get drunk on Lammas/loaf-mas. In 🇺🇲 it's back to school consciousness time. What a Novruz☮️
Yawoll, schwiizer chuchi bechunnt endli chli internet rep xD
Who eats fondue the 1 august? Fondue is a winter meal, in august you just grill pork and drink beer.
I sweat just thinking about it. :D
IT heats you up even moreso than Raclette.
I like rivella but I have a lactose intolerance xD and I love cheese Fondue but i can't eat it
If the cheese is aged more than 6 months most if not all of the lactose is decomposed. Try to check what level of intolerance you have, you might use aged cheese.
@@rednemo9634 Sound advice.
Except Rivella isn't a cheese. It's the softdrink they tried at the start of the video. I'd be wary of aged Rivella
@@LeCheckmate true, rivella contains lactose, there is a new variant that is lactose free. On the other hand, fondue (the oroginal one), being made with aged cheese, is lactose free
the worst case salat aka wurst käse salat
Beaucoup de choses ne sont consommées qu'en Suisse allemand, tellement c'est dégueulasse ! Perso, je ne mange que la fondue (dans cette vidéo).
