I wasn't expecting this to actually be a really good analysis of the game's design, lol. I've always loved the chairlift from a design perspective, 100% agree it's like its own mini-game. Because the players can only file in so fast, it simultaneously gives an increase in lead time to players who win a really close lap, and a decrease to players who win with a bigger gap. It's a built in equalizer.

fucking hell this game was never released in the EU. the original game was my favorite game in my childhood.

I have a theory, the theory is that Snowboard Kids was the product of developers at Atlus venting, and trying to relax after working on the latest SMT, or Persona entry.
If my wild speculation is correct, then that explains why the barely existent story makes zero sense.
Also, Damien is a demon, not a space alien.
It makes perfect sense when you remember it's Atlus that made it.
Man, forget Persona 3 Reload, Snowboard Kids 1+2 Re-Shredded is what *I* need in my life!
Nice to know that there’s more of us out there looking for a reboot! Just hope they stay true to the SBK2 gameplay on the 64.

Honestly, I would buy any console it comes out on, just to play it.
But it makes the most sense to be on a Nintendo console.
Because art style.

Holy moly was this game hard af. Idk how I beat the final boss on expert. Turned me into a beast at this game at the least. For sure a top n64 racer, hope both come to nso it deserves at least that, maybe even ds if we get ds nso
It's a pretty challenging game altogether. In order to beat the Dinosaur in Crazy Jungle mid-way through the game, you've gotta first beat the last boss Damian in a Mech to unlock the high tech board with a fan on it to even stand a chance. I'm sure you knew that but it's just another unique piece about this game that I love:) Thanks for watching and commenting!

This is one my favorite games ever facts snowbalosrd kids 2 is way better than the first one but I liked both
They really improved on the original adding so much more abilities to the characters, the tracks and the items. This game never leaves my 64.

@@MattWatsonComedy well i don't know if the one that was made for the nintendo DS after 2 is considered the third one. But, i just know it sucks lmao. My little sister is 25 we played it as kids and she still loves it, baby bro is 15 and other sister is 19.

A good game is a good game.
On many fronts this is the better game.. but the soundtrack is just a bland reimagining of the previous one, the original is the winner for me.
