    I think I had my first minute of pain free me for just a few minutes earlier yesterday. I walked to the kitchen from the living room and noticed I wasn't hurting at all. No hip pain, no knee pain, no back pain. It was surreal.

      I think it was the hope I needed. If it's just a modicum of what I could experience someday, it makes it easier to hang on. Like a trailer to a movie, that was coming attractions.

    Morning, for me it was letting go of all the tools and techniques. Meditation really only made it worst by hyper focusing on the symptoms. Started to just live.

    My symptoms are caused by Tension. Reminding my Body to Relax has really helped. I even Knew I was Okay but I had made a habit of tensing..I was doing it without even realizing what I was doing. But after a few days of reminding my body to Relax..it responds well..but I still remind it occasionally. Habits take some time to change. Thank You..Dan for your daily Help! 😊❤

    Hi Dan did journal in the Dutch tms group but I got depressed somatic tracking doesn't help me at all only that I focus more on the symptoms. No only your teachings the 4 F's are so helpful. I listen occasionally to mediation because I like it. My mindset is good. I dont freak out anymore 🎉 and guess what my mouth pain disappeared again this morning for 3 hours can hardly believe it. Even after drinking and eating my breakfast. It is back now but I don't care. Cheer myself on in the mirror I like that 😊 ok going for a walk in the dunes with Daniel. Love you Dan and everyone else a big hug and smile from me see you all tomorrow 😘😘😘

    Good morning Dan and PFY community- you can’t build a house on shaky ground! For me there’s been a slow, deepening acceptance that my pain is TMS. The foundation that Dan teaches is absolutely crucial. Listening to his daily videos, reading your comments, soaking in your encouragement, keeps me going, keeps me believing that I WILL be pain free. Blessings to all. Each night I light a candle, and say a prayer for all of us that this candle is the light at the end of the tunnel.

    Pandora's box opening but I've got it under control. My peace and quiet at home has gone because a whole team of builders etc ( subsidence)crashing & banging since7.30am. other stuff going on too. Been lots of tears falling so easily but I'm going with it. Blessed I have beautiful greenspace on my doorstep, central London but a little oasis of calm here. I love popping in on this site, so uplifting. Wishing you all a peaceful weekend. We have a bank holiday weekend this week and next! London buzzing with people visiting for the king's coronation next week. Lots of street parties being organised. Even if you're not a royalist it's good to see people building communities.

    I’ve shared before that I initially found PFY after I had joined an online coaching group that was specific to the lower back area of the body. I’m very grateful that I found the group because one of the elements was very clearly (to me) TMS. Thankfully, I grabbed the notion quickly and wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, there was also a physical approach which felt stressful and confusing to me. I understand that they’re trying to appeal to the fence-straddlers. So, I quietly left as my pain was already reduced. I found PFY (or it found me) and relaxed into this approach. I say often that this is home base. I mean that.
    Since becoming free from chronic pain, I have enjoyed expanding my experience with other things: art, journaling, etc. Note the timeline: AFTER.
    I didn’t need any techniques or checklists to get out of chronic pain.
    Dan’s approach ushered me into freedom. This created space to try some things simply to expand my life.
    Thank you Dan!

    Dear Dan..I keep forgetting to tell you. I heard an old interview of Dr. Sarno. One of the most comforting things he said was the pain and symptoms are caused by just the slightest reduction of oxygen in the bloodstream and it is perfectly Harmless! It Feels like so Much More! But it was very Comforting to know that. 😊❤

    Hi Dan. I have made great progress with symptom recognition and its association with perceived danger. Primarily with internal symptoms (can't be visually seen). Thank you 🙏🏻
    Is it possible that this also applies to symptoms that can be seen? (this is a stretch to consider for my brain). Specifically, I am getting swollen, restricted knuckles/fingers on one hand. I have no pain, just tightness sensation and mild sore skin. My fear goes immediately to rheumatoid arthritis - being a physical therapist that would not be good (the brain says... of course it says that). Is it possible that it is being created by myself? These symptoms come and go and are not there all the time Would appreciate your thoughts.
    Perhaps a video idea ... 'seen and unseen symptoms''

    Hi Dan! Thank you for all you do for us♡
    I've been having Pudendal nerve pain for over two years. I have gotten better from watching your videos and with the understanding that I have TMS. I do have pain free days and have started living my life regardless of whether or not it's there. I do need some more clarity and deep knowing. So my question is would TMS make my "bad" side of my hip be totally displaced when I walk? I feel it's the muscle the nerve runs behind and it pulls my whole pelvis out of alignment. I've gone to the chiropractor 100 times. Actually. Had every nerve block PT and even froze my nerve several times. I have stopped all physical modalities over the last month. I rarely hear you talk about nerve pain. PN is hard bc I'm told they can't see thr nerve. The only thing I did was fall on my bottom. However at the same time I had a bad break up and my stress was through the roof.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  Před rokem

      TMS and the brain can create muscle tension which can pull joints out of alignment. From your story, it is likely TMS. Perceived Danger. Go through the resources on this page: www.PainFreeYou.com/start

    I had the experience of pain subsiding by reading Sarno's book for another pain I was having. I felt in my gut that it was not structural and the pain subsiding like magic, made me happy.
    For the one I am experiencing now,: post surgical pain, I know that the body heals but nothing happens. And I am living my life as best as I can. But because I see no results I go back to question if this time is structural. The only one hour I had without pain I was on medication and giving a party at my house.
    So, can a recovery process be gradual? I tend to think that it only occurs if you have some kind of A-ha moment.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  Před rokem

      Getting clear that your body is NOT the problem. That MUST be the foundation. As long as you think your body is messed up, the fear and perceived danger stay high and the brain has no choice but to keep "protecting you" with the pain.
      Decide finally that your body is okay. It's NOT structural. You don't need an A-ha moment. Consistent messages of safety over time work.

    Hi Dan. What can be done about morning fatigue especially? My brain and body do not want to wake up until well into the morning - close to 11am is when I slowly “wake up”. It’s terrible.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  Před rokem +1

      In my opinion, fatigue is just another symptom of TMS and the brain perceiving danger. Lowering fear is the first priority. Check out tomorrows video. It applies to fatigue too.
