A voice for the Voiceless - A story by Evans Ijakaa.

Join us on this uplifting journey as Evans Ijakaa, a Macheo beneficiary from Strathmore University takes us through his journey of resilience, hope, and dedication. Evans Grew up in one of the largest informal settlements, Mukuru Kayaba slums in Nairobi. Coming from an informal settlement, Evans faced numerous challenges and barriers to accessing quality education. However, his unwavering determination and the support of the Macheo scholarship by Strathmore University opened doors to a brighter future for himself and his family.
This is the inspiring story of how the Macheo program propelled his passion for giving back to society by being a voice for the voiceless.
