When I was at work recently a patient asked what I was greatful for and I said "life", thinking about this song. "It is a dumb thing to say, but the fact won't wane away" the patient has been through so much and it wasn't the first time I was with them. "Smile at someone today" bringing positive emotions to whoever needs them most. These songs are so moving in many different ways and for many different emotions. Usually I'm listening to brutal death metal or black metal, but these moments make me appreciate the time I took to listen to something different.

One of the best days of my life was seeing these live with my brother and sister. I was so emotional I nearly cried, they were so beautiful and it felt so amazing to see them!
I was really shocked they weren't in a bigger venue with more fans but it felt more special this way, you could definitely interact more.

Gosh I really do love Sonata Arctica....the wording and what they put into melody and music just floors me. I have been a long time fan and I listen to Sonata at work literally every day still. I know every person and people have their limits...please keeping music. It keeps people going, your music keeps us going.

I love Sonata Arctica. I discovered them ten years or more ago, hated them. Then last year I was bored and thought I'd try them again (they were announced for some dates with my beloved Nightwish). All I can say is, it has taken months but I just in the last month bought every single studio album and I hope to see them soon live. Every album is great. I think my three favourites are Reckoning Night, Unia and The Days of Grays.
I am really loving the two new songs. They sound better than the last two albums (which I enjoy immensely). I reckon The Ninth Hour has the potential to be my album of the year.
I find it amazing how three of my top ten bands are Finnish now. HIM, Nightwish and now Sonata Arctica!

A band which was the first ones to do "love metal" in the early 90's, not sure if they're highly active anymore. Their lead singer, Ville Valo, is heavily tied with Bam Margera and made the band highly famous in the US in mid-90's and early 2000's.
