You mentioned you could make a part 2 or several spin-offs from this video and I searched your channel but couldn’t find any. Please speak more on these topics if you find the time! I love your content!

it's very refreshing to have this kind of content here on youtube. You are extremely knowledgeable and also have a very good way to present information. Thank you for everything that you do, looking forward to delving deeper into the single festival origins.

Hey, I really appreciated that! I find great meaning in celebrating the wheel of the year, and I'm happy to know more about its origins, even if they are often recent in the past.

Thank you for this excellent video. I really wish beginner type books would give accurate useful information (as you do here). Instead they mostly seem to present the Wheel of the Year as a “you must do this” type of thing.
It think it creates a lot of pressure on new comers having so many dates to be organised for I their first years

The word "s'esbattre" is an ancient French word, the modern equivalent is "s'ébattre" and would read as "say-bah-twuh". Merci for another brilliant video!

Thank you so much for this video. I was aware of most of what you said in outline, but you have certainly put flesh on the bones for me, which is very helpful. The wheel of the year appeals greatly to me in my practice, but as you suggest not as a statement of historical fact, but rather as inspiration. You have made a lot of suggestions for future videos and I can honestly say I would welcome each and every one - however be careful not to put yourself under too much strain.

I really learned a lot from this video, I’ve been trying to learn more about these festivals because I would like to participate in them. I grew up with traditional seasons and the wheel would have lined up perfectly then, but now I live in a semi tropical environment and I don’t thave traditional seasons, really just like three mild summer, summer , and why is the sun so angry/oh look hurricanes summer. So I have been trying to make my own wheel based on what I experience here. You have a lot of references I wrote down to check out. Looking forward more videos (as always you are fantastic) on this topic along with videos about any of the influential authors you mentioned in this video as well. I love Learning about that stuff. Take care Ari 😁

The wheel is definitely not universally applicable for sure, that's great you're making your own wheel ☺ and I'm glad that the video has helped Shane!

I’ve been doing a lot of research into tropical and even Southern Hemisphere wheel of the year since where I live doesn’t really line up with the wheel either.
I think the best would be going out and taking notes of the surrounding and actively take part in the natural world. But that’s hard to do in a city during a pandemic.

Thank you! I've been trying to tell people this for so many years when discussing the wheel, but I do belive hearing it from you gives the information more authority, haha! Now I can simply link them this video if they ask!

It's so interesting to have this in a timeline. Great timing for the Solstice too. Thanks for sharing. I personally do love to celebrate but now for me its much more about the land I live on and connecting to that land, and celebrating the season with family. I like to ponder on the themes of the season, to journal and engage in shadow work around healing etc. I've been getting into The Noble Art by Tiffany Lazic this year which is so interesting from that perspective. I spoke a bit about it in my latest video for the Summer Solstice and in the Bealtaine video too. It's been really enriching to engage with. Solstice Blessings Ari 🙏
