Not a Pathfinder player yet, but one of the characters I would like to create would be an elf bard who only cares about becoming a famous musician.
Other than that I would love to play an orc giant instinct barbarian and a human geniekin magus who has amnesia but gets flashes of his previous life via dreams and nightmares.

Just started a First World Homebrew, implemented more Dresden aspects to the Faerie. They're mission is to recapture a magic tower, to defeat the gaurdians, theyll have to get their feet muddy trekking through the First World, completing quests and making pacts with strange creatures.

My headcanon is that Aroden was killed, not by Asmodeus, or Tar-Baphon, or any of the usual suspects, but by the Eldest of the First World.
Why? Because Aroden was the god of prophecy. The living incarnation of everything the fey hate the most: fate, mortality, and law.
So they tricked into a trap and killed him, and doing so destroyed the prophecies that they hated to so much (while also playing a fantastic Plot Twist to all the universe, which is a very fey thing to do).

I´d like to think that, since the first world is so fluid, the ability to produce working magic is not so much random, as it is depended on the willpower of the individual.
Like, if I say, with all my conviction "This FIREBALL WILL BE MAXIMIZED", it might not work on the Material Plane, but it might work on the First World.

I am playing a F half elf Fighter/Rouge in the Rise of the Runelords that was raised in the Palkar Forest of Druma. The GM has allowed the area of forest she grew up in to be under the court of a rogue Nymph queen that is protecting a first world portal that leads to the unstable outer areas of the dimension. The fey that live there are all refugees and when she was young, helped the queen kill a green dragon that had developed a taste for fey flesh and was seeking to pass through the portal. Her human mother is a descendant of the Macridi people that follow the traditions of the Speakers of the Pale that reside on a farm in a belt of the forest edge and still fulfill their purpose as intermediaries for the fey and act as a buffer zone. Her elven father is from Kyonen and is a forlorn that has been tasked by the returning elves with retrieving the artefacts that were 'stolen' during the exodus from the Earthfall. The returning elves blamed them thus requiring the items to be retrieved to reclaim their 'honor'. During one of his adventures, he sought the favor of the Palkar nymph queen to aid his parties quest. Taking rest at a farm in the edge of the forest, he met a human female and fell in love (I take this as a mild charm effect for the mother having grown up in the forest). Having received the favor at the cost of making a promise to the queen and completing his quest, he returned to the farm and married the human female. Fast forward 10 years and my character, 6yo, is drawn to a clamor in the forest and stumbles on a struggle between the nymph queen and her allies battling an old green dragon seeking to enter a back door to the first world to prey on fey for which it had developed a taste. Finding the defenders battered and bloody with so many of her friends lying dead at the dragon's hand and only the queen standing between the dragon and the hidden grove, she threw a rock at the dragon and struck it about the head. With the dragon distracted, the queen thrust her sword into the breast of the beast and killed it. Turns out that the promise made to the queen by her father was to return to the woman on the farm and marry her and continue the lineage of allies for the queen. She was then raised, at the nymph queen's bidding to the father, as an adventurer to aid the queen in the realms beyond her forest. Fast forward 30 years and her mother dies, her father has taken ill due to extreme sadness at losing his love and dies of a broken heart. Before his passing, he gives her a letter from one of his old adventuring mates who now lives in Sandpoint and wishes to gift him a horse to repay a past debt. Before leaving the forest, the queen gifts her with a rune that allows her to appear as she was when she took her first steps outside the forest so that she will never forget that questing spirit within her. This is only to act as a mechanic so that no matter what she wears or wields she will always look the same so that I don't feel like I have the need to update my miniature to depict my character as on the character sheet. I also plan on taking levels of sorcerer with the fey bloodline and eventually prestige class as an Arcane Trixter. I also want to see if the GM will allow me to take the Friend of the Fey trait when I take the Additional Traits feat to take the Multi Class Mastery trait. Friend of the Fey requires you to be from the Linnorm Kingdom but it doesn't give you anything game breaking and it totally fits my character and her background. He'd probably let me do it. I think it would be cool if I could search the forests near our quest destinations to see if there are any fey that could give me info on the place/people. If this character survives long enough she is gonna be a total badass.
