I agree. There might have been something to it the first year they debut (Liz even mentioned it), but that's clearly not the case now. I think those antis who started this were comparing LE SSERAFIM's instant closeness to IVE gradual one and started making up crap. I think IVE is more typical on how members get close over how LE SSERAFIM did it anyway. You can't predict if you have instant chemistry with a person, that's just luck. IVE built on their friendship while LE SSERAFIM somehow fell into a situation where all the member immediately clicked. One isn't better than the other. TWICE, a group universally known for having members who stick to each other like glue, didn't start off that way. They built up to that, just like IVE has.
I really really love that chemistry between Yujin and Gaeul, they are just so dumb and dumber vibe😭😭😭

They said in an interview that it was hard for them to get close because they are mostly introverts, but that Yujin worked very hard to bring everyone together. Now they are close like family. IVE will forever be my ult group!!!
I think I remember people saying that at the beginning of their careers. Since I'm a new fan I don't know, but judging by what Liz said and what the other commenter pointed out, maybe there was some truth in at first. I mean they were put together pretty quickly and pushed out as soon as possible to capitalize off of IZ*ONE. So I'm sure it took some time to figure out how things worked and who your new friends were in those circumstances.
I also think the people accusing IVE of not being close were comparing their start to LE SSERAFIM, who had similar conditions. I don't think that's very fair as I believe their immediate closeness was the result of pure luck. You can't predict chemistry like that, that just happens naturally, and it's not the norm. Everything I have seen for IVE since becoming a DIVE has shown me these girls are just as close as any other group; perhaps because they had to work for it. It might have taken them longer than LE SSERAFIM's extreme case, but they got there in the end.
(Sidenote: TWICE, often known to be a group who's the closest in the industry, didn't start out that way at the beginning. All the members have said this. So it's not a slight to say IVE built on their friendship rather than instantly having it)

I got to imagine being a staff for most girl groups must be tough. They really have a thankless job it you think about it. They work just as hard as the idols do, and most of the time we don't even see their faces. With their work load, I'd imagine the cute aspect of the idols is one of the motivating factors. You're putting up with the long hours because you want to care for these people. If they are cute and kind when the cameras are off, you gain a friendship with them. If I were them, seeing the girls cut lose instead of worrying about singing perfectly behind-stage would be satisfying.

Wonyoung is so interesting. She’s definitely keeping up a princess persona for the camera, but she’s also clearly still herself from izone. In all the skits, she gives it her all, even if she looks absurd. A hard worker for sure.

IVE staff are so nice, they just let the girls get away with anything, I mean, I would too.

저는 2023년 4월에 입덕한 다이브 입니다 그 전까지만 해도 힘든감정들을 같이 버텨주는 친구가 필요했어요. 근데 아이브에 입덕하고 나서 내 삶에 정말 큰 선물이 찾아왔구나라고 느꼈습니다. 마냥 힘든감정들이 없어진 건 아니지만 내 자신이 웃는 횟수가 더 많아지고 내입에서 나오는 이쁜 말들과 나의 행복한 날의 횟수가 더 많아 졌어요. 저는 지금이 좋아요. 웃고 행복한게. 어쩌면 기댈 수 있는 기둥 보다는 함께 웃을 수 있는 인생의 큰 선물인 친구가 되어줘서 하루하루를 기쁘게 살 수 있는 것 같아요. 주변말들에 휘둘리는 것 보단 오뚜기 처럼 넘어져도 다시 일어서서 누구보다 빛나는 아이브, 자기 자신을 좋아하고 사랑하는 성장할 수 있는 그룹이 됐으면 좋겠어요. 항상 믿고 있고 화이팅 해요.

I'm a big fan of IVE. I love all of them. I read the comments first and all of the comments is regarding to IVE's relationship. I do understand that we what a genuine friendship and we do understand that this "all kpop thing" is a business (i mean entire all kpop group). It's like we're working in our office with co work mates, sometimes, we don't like to be around with others. I hope that starship continue to do activities to bring IVE's member close together off/on cam. ❤❤❤❤ Sometime, kept thinking if they are close as Yujin and others alway going out and uploading their myday while wonyoung haven't upload any pic of ive or maybe she's using her social media for personal stuff but anyways hope that they continue as ive anf be close to each other❤❤❤❤❤❤ love u IVE
I think that IVE are in the sweet spot of growing close to each other in a very stressful, appearance focus environment. It doesn't matter if they are closer than any other group, just that they are enjoying each other's company and working well as a team!

看完這一集不知道為甚麼哭了，特別感動。
看到成員們對Liz的印象和觀感，真實又溫暖，能感受到她們話語間的真摯，我也更加確認她們彼此之間是很好的朋友。前段時間Liz因為Instagram上發布只有五人的照片被惡意揣測和攻擊，那段時間實在很難過。但是經過這一集，我更加相信她們之間的友誼❤
最後各個成員的內心獨白真的讓我特別感動，很溫暖，希望大家在新一年都要更加幸福。
