This episode became one of my favorites almost automatically.
Mood
The moment King Paimon said “Isn’t that fun?” I immediately thought, “Yup. That’s Jafar.”
I like this episode because it opens up the characters' past and it gives more information about them.
I swear my favourite episodes are changing as this show goes on
The voice actors for Young Stolas, Fiz and Bitz are indeed kids and they were all great.
Plus Stolas's dad is voiced by Jafaar

This episode give Aladdin fans nostalgia when they put the voice of Jafar in Paimon for this episode.
I love the character arch Stolas is having like he’s developing as a character I’m glad this episode was dedicated to his story
I am sooo glad they got divorced the Woman really believes he can order Stolas around simply cause she runs her mouth better when in reality he can just yeet her in the sun and call it a day heck blame it on an imp and the whole thing will be swept under the rug to not have the whole "A Goetia killed by an Imp" humiliation.
I like how this also confirms that the Grimoir Stolas has it's not the source of his powers but rather a spell book to help him do his job there we're a lot of speculations saying that Stolas takes his power from there.
Stolitz moment was hella touching and it shows their bond it was..bitter sweet in a way because it shows how both we're used by their families ever since they we're kids and their bond was fabricated by their family before it grew to something more intimate.
You can say what you want about Owl Dad but while he doesn't care about Stolas to the point he does not even remember him from his looks...he was straight to the point "you don't have a saying in this you get married I want a kid out of you" and "your duty is this and you will do this" he could have simply told him what to do through a mirror or through his mother or whatever but he choose to personally tell him the truth..as far as Royalties go he is actually fairly decent.
Blitz Dad through? He was straight up emotionally blackmailing his son to get in trouble for his own gain....that's far worse than Paimon in my opinion

Called it because I knew Stella was a bad mother, the way she never wants to come to Octavia as a child when she's in distress, dont give a shxt that Stolas and her made up and just hostile and unstable was enough to not see any good in her.
It would seem Vivzie has a thing for Aladdin-related people, so she decided to place them in her show. First it was James Monroe Iglehart (Broadway's Genie) voicing Asmodius. Now...
Since Stolas' father is voiced by Jonathan Freeman, I can remarkably hear a subtle Jafar in him whenever he speaks.

In the end, Stolas is wearing the same "galaxy cape" he wore on the date with Blitz in the last episode. I love Stolas' singing voice. I would love to murder Stella just for interrupting him, but there are way more reasons to hate her... They didn't officially divorce yet, but they live separately, I think. (Probably a divorce would be a shame for their status) Many people guessed before, that their marriage was arranged, and they never loved each other. At least Stolas tried to be a good husband, and the cheating wasn't entirely his fault either. I assume we will see Stella's brother soon enough.
Hazbin Hotel is maybe next year (I read somewhere some tweet from a cast member about 2023, after RWBY I just prepare for the longest wait...)
Oh I thought Hazbin Hotel was still to continue this year on HBO Max (which'd be kinda a pity since my country can't receive that channel). But this is only what I've read somewhere

Fiz has robotic arms and legs probably something bad happened in the circus and Blitzo was the one that did the thing maybe not specially or he was jealous of Fiz being better than him at everything which was the cause of it.
@@gulox8241 There's also a not-yet-confirmed fan theory that white areas on imps are scar tissue from major injuries. Some match this more than others, like Millie's sister with the patch over her eye, as opposed to Moxie's freckles. However, if true, notice that kid Blitzo does not have any white on his face, but Blitz does.
My first thought on a type of wound that could cover that much of a face without killing is a burn. That also matches with the face that in the Harvest episode when you see more of Blitz unclothed, his most of his hands are white. Could easily see Blitz being responsible for a fire that badly burned Fizzarolli and got himself burned while possibly trying to pat out the fire by hand. They did talk about amputation this episode which feels like a reference to adult Fizz, regardless.
But that's a lot of conjecture based on small hints.

She's the one actor in the series who is actually English! I'd vouch for Baby Stolas' voice actor as well, if he's not a Brit he's faking it REALLY well, but I don't actually know, and it's much harder to find info on child actors (rightfully so).

"why do they just look like dogs?" I'm going by how it seems Ars Goetia looks like different types of birds, I'm assuming Hellhounds look like different types of canines. While some look like wolves, it makes sense that some would look like different types of domestic dogs.

This episode is the worst one, a retcon basically Before season 2 it seemed like Blitzo and Stolas were just drunk during some party and got together for one night, Blitzo stole the book but Stolas forgave him and offered an exchange. In pilot Blitzo calls Stolas "priviliged asshole", really? After he felt sympathy towards Stolas and f**ked him out of pity, he now turns into a hater. In episode 2 it seemed like Stella cared about their reputation at least. They could have changed it to Stella being toxic in private, but in public pretend to be a happy queen and tell others about her amazing prince Stolas, and also, Stolas seemed to care about this affair, he tried to calm her down, apologize etc. He can't explain to his daughter what's wrong between them, as if the problem was deeper than "nah yo mama is toxic lol". In episode 5 Stolas acts superior to Blitzo and other imps, like he's the higher race. If he knew Blitzo since childhood he probably wouldn't think like that. And episode 7 perfectly showed that the relationship is not only about f**king, because when it came to them going out, talking, it seemed like there's not much goin on, they don't have anything in common, they don't understand each other. Stolas feels ashamed that people know about this affair, he doesn't defend Blitzo, and Blitzo is disappointed, but he's no better, he invited Stolas only in order to get to the club. This was a lot more complicated before, now it just seems flat "aaaww Stolas is innocent, Stella is evil, Blitzo really cared since the beggining (it's not like it developped)"
