BeardTube they aren’t raising the price. Amazon has many sellers. Most likey one seller had them for $20 and because of your review they sold all of them. Amazon now shows the next best price from other sellers etc. as more people buy the price goes up as everyone is buying out the inventory from the sellers that had them at a lower price leaving only the sellers that had them at a higher price.

With the straightening brush would it not damage your hair cuticles as I thought you need to apply coldness to close the cuticles back up to keep your beard soft.

I bought this exact brush after watching this review and it's crazy how well it works. The one downside is that by straightening the hair it makes the hairs longer and the beard becomes thinner. If you have a thick one like Scuba's it won't matter, but it can be an issue for guys not as blessed genetically.

I've seen some suggestions that the smoking was from hair products; I had assumed the same. But, I just got this thing in the mail (ordered it just after seeing this) and was reading the booklet (cuz I'm a total nerd)...
Page 6: "Attention: For the first time usage of the appliance, occasionally there may be a slight burning smell or very light smoke, which is caused by the slight residual oil on the MCH heater metal parts burning off when heated. It is normal and safe to use. It may only last for a few seconds."

The smoke is hair products (eg: oil etc) in the hair that are scorched when heat is applied. Wash beard with shampoo first, apply a very light heat conditioner if you want, then use heat hair straightening tool, after that apply oil, conditioner, hair products on beard last.

That includes beards. As another tip you can get yellowing and dinginess out of a beard by using basic hair care methods.

So crazy man. I literally got this the day before u posted it. I made a post in Bossman’s Facebook group w some pix. I fee exactly how u do. I was skeptical since my beard is a wild mess. Has looked same length for 6 years except for the rare times I would actually use the brush and hair dryer method.(which is def not a good as this brush)
But I think u should be using after a freshly cleaned beard without any oils. Says to use on dry hair too. I’ve only used twice so far and super impressed both times. It even keeps it tame the next day!!! Anyone on the fence. Jump on this or one like it. I’m lazy and just rarely did any other method to straighten. Since this is so quick, i feel like i will be using often!
Oh and I use the lowest heat. Don’t think I need it any hotter.

Advice from a woman who’s played with hot tools her whole life here. The motion you’re brushing in is quite outwardly (that a word? Lol) as you are going down. Basically creating a feathered out look. If you want it to look more tamed and sleek, turn the brush inwards as you brush down. If that made any sense. Great vid 👌🏻

My beard is down to my chest now and I use a straightening brush daily. I add my beard oil after and I'm done. 2 minutes as part of my morning routine and I can vouch it is well worth it if you live in a place with any kind of decent humidity.

When you tried that brush for the first time did you have anything in your beard like argan oil because I bought a Wild Willies brand brush and when I used it , it smoked a lot worse than here I am assuming because it was still damp and I was using some argan oil to protect from the heat and it burned off? I also had mine set at 410 degrees which I definately will turn down to 380 next time. But dang these things work way better than a hair dryer and comb.

how long does the straighten hair last? Is this something that is one and done all day, or will you need to "freshen up" your beard? p.s. my beard is about 12" long and pretty curly.
