Kunuki | Folk Horror short film (2023)

Our entry into the 2023 edition of Noomaraton; a Swedish 24-hour filmmaking competition, where you're given certain criteria that must be included in the finished film.
This year's criteria were:
-Theme: new friends
-Objects: vegetable, crown, envelope
-Locations: at a bus/train stop, in a hole, in a bathroom
We chose to make it a spooky Lovecraft-inspired folk horror, because of course we did. I hope you enjoy it.
