I don't recall if this was covered in any of the videos along the way but it would be great to know how Shmee registered and insured the car in the US as a non-resident. The re-assignable plate is a great idea for future cars.
Shmee mentioned in his 2021 tour that he holds a US work visa (makes it easier to come in for longer than 90 days too). With a valid work visa you can easily rent an apartment or even a PO box to use as a registration address, and you can also hold an SSN and open a US bank account to facilitate matters.

There's a CZcamsr M539 Restorations that has purchased a few American spec BMWs and besides restoring them to near brand new condition, he's had to convert them to German spec to pass the Toof inspection process. I hope I spelled that right. Interesting what items he's had to do to meet your requirements. I look forward to seeing the whole process. Be quite interesting from an American perspective. Good luck with the transportation and look forward to seeing the future..

@@CaseyCollier the SLS is one of my favourites in Shmee's collection, I just think next to the GT500 and GT8, the C63 is a better fit as they all have that tracked out muscle car vibe. The SLS is just another level.

It already has a valve system on it from factory. It has quiet, normal, sport and race exhaust settings
because it can break the homologation regulations it wouldnt be allowed. Needs to pass under all circumstances basically

The matte green to black fade on that Essenza is beautiful. Too bad the GT500 isn't right hand drive for the UK.
