- Hello everyone! I really apologize if i kept you waiting for so long. It has been a bumpy road for me and my dad. He was supposed to go for his visa interview last May 17th BUT unfortunately, due to the results of his medical examination, he was not able to proceed to the interview process. Please watch this video till the end to know what happened.

Hello! Just a quick update☺️ My dad has made it here in the US na po.
Same goes to I-140 filing. Unless you CEAC status is READY and is already at US Embassy Manila, then you are eligible to schedule an appointment at the CGI website. This CGI thing is actually a new process, everyone was hesitant to book at first. But after several attempts of calling and verification, yes. CGI appointments can be initiated only when the docs have been submitted at USEM.
I hope your father will be cleared soon 🙏 And when he is already after 2 months, I also hope your father's paper will finally be at US Embassy Manila.

As i have understand if I'm right about the content of the email from NVC, they have to wait for the Embassy assigned for paper which is US Embassy Manila to send them available date of interview..for them to send it to US Embassy Manila..I'm also waiting mine is April 2021 docs approved..God Bless..

Yung normal process kase is we wait for USEM to give us itnterview schedule diba? But now they gave us the option to schedule our own visa intrvw appointment online or over the phone with USEM pero unreliable pla sila. Your videos abt this is very helpful ,salamat and aantayin ko yung next update mo after ma kuha na ang cultured sputum result.sna by that time nsa USEM na yung dcoments nyo, i know how frustrating it is. Hello 👋! Thank you so much for commenting 😃. Yes, I was told by one of the customer agent ng USEM na Pwede akong mag schedule ng visa interview if May available slot. She even mentioned that I can do it myself online. One thing she didn’t mention was to make sure na yung case namin should be at USEM before getting a visa interview schedule. We have been waiting for almost 6 months na. 🥺 how about you guys?

If your father's medical expires, be ready for another sputum test during his second medical. A friend of mine had did a second sputum test but the medical expired again before he got an interview date. I do not understand why our local medical is only valid for 6 months while the medical done in the us is valid for 2 years and lately have been extended to 4 years because of covid. And it cost almost P18k for the medical! Not counting the airfare, hotel, transpo and meals allowance that we from the province have to dish out on top of the P18k medical fee.
Hello Kerry. OMG! That’s mental. Actually just uploaded a Sputum Test Update for my dad and yes, I’m so afraid paying another 18k for medical and all the expenses to get there since we are from Davao City. And not to mention the time that it will take for all that process again. I had my medical done here in the US and it was very easy and straightforward. I hope your friend’s case has paid off and had granted visa. This US Visa journey is no joke and stressful. I can’t wait to finally be over this sooner than later 🙏🏼

Hello Ram! That’s good that you’re able to get a slot 🙏🏼! Per my experience, my appointment letter/confirmation was honored by St. Luke’s. Now when I called to reschedule my dad’s visa appointment, I was told that out case is still at NVC. So USEM won’t be able to reschedule my appointment unless they receive my case. I suggest you contact the USEM to verify. By the way, has the applicant completed the medical examination?
For those in doubt, once you get a string of emails from NVC saying they passed the file over to USEM and another email from them regarding the USEM approving an Expedited processing, and a separate email from US Embassy saying "Congratulations" with a link to set up an appointment for interview - most often than not, the interview will push through. Medical exam of course has to be done beforehand (and passed before the interview)
hello! my expedite request was approved and i received an email advising me to schedule an appointment online but it has been 10 days and i wasn’t able to get an appointment, it always shows no available appointment. also if you call they will advise to go online.
@@velmaocsit8355 if there is no rush on your end, the online booking has a 2 to 3 month booking window to select from.
08/28/2020 was the date they recieved our case and 09/30/2021 the time they send that our case is been approved...

Hello, do u have an update if the status in CEAC has been changed? -In transit - Ready.
Medical exam is valid for only 6 month, count day 1 from your father's 1st day of medical up to 6th month.
Once your CEAC status (at NVC) hasn't been changed for 6 months the medical will expire and you have to pay and do the medical Again. Since he was under Sputum test, there's a chance that he might be under sputum test the second time of medical(no matter if the result test negative for TB).
Idunno if case is Ok now so kindly disregard 😅

I had my sputum test last April 18-20. Results will be after 2 months, June 17 to be exact. That's true that everything needs to be accomplished within 6 months (before medical expires)

Hello Jenirma! If your case has been approved already, the NVC should send you an email to start your NVC processing. Have you heard anything from NVC after the USCIS approved your case?

Hi, anyone here had the same experience as mine? Negative both sputum & culture tests however comparative xray came out and Dr advised seen lessen marks from the original.. now super anxious as will be having another xray aftr 3 months :(
Hello Alexandra. So St. Luke’s didn’t give you a go clearance to get a visa interview schedule I assume? As you have to wait for another 3 months to get another X-ray? Haven’t heard anything like that. Hopefully other viewers can see this comment and they’re able to share if they have the same experience.

Hi Maricel! You mentioned that you had 1 friend who got the culture sputum result in 6 weeks... May I ask if it was a positive or negative? I'm super anxious because SLEC sent me an email that my results are available (only 5 weeks and 3 days from day 3 of sputum collection)
Hello Lia. Yes I know someone that got their results back after 6 weeks and it came out negative for tuberculosis. With our case though, we didn’t received an email form SLEC that our results are ready. My friend that got 6 weeks waiting time was also in different category that’s ours. Theirs was an employment visa. I don’t know if that makes a difference. But I wish you luck and hope everything is well.

I rescheduled to get mine earlier since in the email, it reads that I can reschedule if I'm not free on Sept 1, so I thought why not rip the bandaid now? I'll find out tomorrow. I really hope I'm like your friend. I'm glad I found your Vlog because everything I've read and watched said that if SLEC calls (in my case, emails) you that results are available before the original release date on the paper, it's usually you know... So I really have been very anxious. My application is for a work visa in New Zealand. My husband and daughter's were approved while mine got held because of this suspicion. I was negative in the smear results. Really praying that I'm not among the few people that becomes + in the culture. I just have a theory that maybe there's not as many applications in NZ to process in SLEC and that's why they're able to do it faster (I really pray that it's just that). My friend got his 6 weeks coz he called SLEC every single week to verify also since his family got cleared with medical right away and they’re really wanting to leave the Philippines at the same time. And they’re nurses too, so that might be a contributing factor; people processing working visas get prioritized due to lack of labor force here in the US.

Does that mean at NVC or In transit pa status nya? I'm not sure if it's the same with EB3, makaka sched ka lang for interview pag "ready" na status for EB3 visa.

Hi Ma’am Maricel! My parents went to SLEC yesterday (may 8, 2024) and they need to take the sputum test for may 22-23. The SLEC staff said that their visa interview on May 13,2024 is cancelled. How can we contact or atleast inform the us embassy or the NVC that they cannot push through on their interview? Or should we even contact them or not? Thank you so much!
Hello! What i did was, i contacted the US Embassy, Manila that my dad will have to undergo sputum test and unable to show up for the interview. And they cancelled his appointment. I think this is unnecessary but I did it anyway. You don’t have to inform the NVC coz your case has already been transferred to the US Embassy, Manila.

Para ngang may mali sa procedure nun nakausap mo na rep dun sa video mo na yun. Di mo naman gagawin yun kung alam mong 'di tama pagkaka-explain nya sa'yo, kaya feeling ko nadamay ka te. 'di rin naman ako expert tungkol dyan pero alam ko na hahantayin mo talaga ang email ni nvc kasi sila magii-sched ng interview ng tatay mo kasama lahat ng papers nya galing din nvc. Nako cheer up! I have a question regarding my Filipina Wife hight school teacher. we are AT NVC awaiting interview. so we decided to risk it and take the exam at St Lukes for wife and step sons. well of course it expired. in january and no interview. She had to take the sputem test in a separate trip to Manila. Is there a way that you know of that she can get the retest of her medical and the sputum on the same trip? I cannot seem to get a contact that can tell me at St Luke's. Of course I am here in California. any guidance you can help me with is appreciated

Hello Rhodora! Thank you for stopping by here in my channel. We are on the same boat. My father had to cancel visa interview for the same reason. Worst thing is, his medical certification will expire on the 27th of October. I have been religiously checking the appointment website everyday and no luck 🥺. I wish I have a top for you but let’s pray and leave it up to Him 🙏🏼 we only have 40 days till my father’s medical certificate expires. 🥴

Hello Po. Sorry for the late response. Yes, in the Philippines, St. Luke’s is the only authorized medical facility for US Immigration related medical tests.
Hello Maricel, so TB scars apparently stays in the lungs even if people are healed, and will be spotted in future X-rays. what if the person brings his/her medical history to the test if we already had any TB treatments in the past, and were released from the hospital. Will the doctor take a look at it and won’t ask you for further tests? Thank you for your answer.
