- The Boys Season 4 Episode 8 revealed the finale, with Homelander finally winning, whilst Butcher's new powers defeat Victoria Neuman before she can join Hughie & The Boys. Ryan has also gone rogue now, with him being the only hope left to defeat his dad. Ashley has also resorted to taking V, so today, let's theorise what kind of super powers she could get!

Yeah, Grace absolutely fumbled the bag, basically set the show back to season 1 with Vought on steroids against the boys
Yup
No it's not though? Butcher has the virus which is completely different from season 1?
@@MiregoThe100th Yeah but half of them are in jail and Homelander defacto controls america and could have both Soldier Boy and Ryan on his side. The point is not that its exactly the same, just that they are back to the relationship of season 1 where the supes seem untouchable.
@@kennnnnhow would he get soldier boy on his side? I thought soldier boy hated homelander and believed he was a disappointment
Kimiko finally speaking was heartbreaking 😢
Bro Hughie fucking the shapeshifter 20 times is crazy💀 he like a lot of people (if you know you know)
🤪
The shapeshifter must have enjoyed.
Thats the only explanation.
Confirmed Hughie got that Hugh Mungus in him
Bro💀
less than 20 LMAO!
I have a feeling that Soldier Boy is going to take Black Noir's role in the comics.
why is soldier boy gonna eat a baby
@@babaook-95 Obviously the taking down Homelander part, as the government's contingency if he ever went rouge.
@@babaook-95first thing you think of?
@@babaook-95 Show Black Noir could still do that with him discovering he does get a murder boner in the finale. And he has somewhat similar powers to Homelander, being able to fly, and we don't quite know the limits of his strength. If Butcher could just stumble into Homelander powers with Temp V last seasons, writers can certainly have him just awaken to lasers and voila, Black Noir with cloned powerset from Homelander who is sexually aroused by killing
@@PossessedbyPhoenixyea and it has to be more to it. No way they cast this new noir (storyline wise I kno it’s same actor) as some random dude who just fills in as a replacement. He had to be specifically chosen and put there for a reason. But that’s just my opinion
Ashley becomes The Beast, smart and monstrously strong.
I just realized, homelander could “out” anyone as a supe by lasering them. He can laser a plastic bottle of milk to such a subtle degree it only warms it up. He could probably provide warm therapy for people with sore back muscles
I wonder what would happen if Butcher injected himself with Temp V again now that the V-Cancer parasite is cooperating with him. The V-Cancer evidently has the power to regenerate Butcher to some degree. So I wonder if it's possible Butcher could juice himself up even more and regain his laser eyes.
Had the same thought! That’s what I’m hoping lazer eyes with the tentacles!!!
i also thought vicky needed eye contact or to at least see her victims but her was so much stronger and precise. when they were in her basement their noses all started to bleed even before she walked downstairs into the room. and she ate point blank bullets from butcher when she was talking to hughie. she was a top tier. and eats eye lazers even if homie was trying max power. and butcher rips her apart? wild. i cant wait to see sam riordan in the boys. he tanked kimikos punch like it was nothing. and cindy. shes gonna be insanely powerful hopefully.
My fav part was when homelander wanted to laser rayn😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When did he want to do that?
Ya I don’t remember homelander saying that. It for sure was implied tho.
Ryan is a real kid he’s NOT going to fight his DAD rn it’s gonna have to be a time jump and he’s grown.. then maybe
He's acc stronger then homelander look what his heat vision did to stormfront compared to homelanders
Knowing that Jared Padalecki (Sam from Supernatural) is coming in Season 5 to complete the Supernatural reunion, it'd be hilarious if they time skip enough to have him play an older Ryan with some de-aging technology (or something fast-aging the character)
@@yaboyee2691 I mean like he’s not going to WANT to do it now but eventually he WILL
@@outsxder I was shocked that when he heard how evil homelander was he didn't want to
Nope @@yaboyee2691
I was happy to see Homelander finally win one and I can't wait to see Ashley become Medusa.
Why do you want Homelander to win?
@@ContagiousSponge i think he won this time just for us to see dramatic season 5
I do think that in Season 5 Butcher is going to be in control instead of Kessler, especially after seeing Ryan be an actual hero (Which I think we will see after he goes through a character arc in Gen V S2). The Boys get back together, they team with A-train and maybe some of the Gen V cast and take down The Seven. As for Homelander, him and Ryan will probably fight and in the end....they don't kill him...but depower him. Just as Homie is about to be taken away by the CIA, Butcher kills him. It's then revealed that Butcher is no longer in control and Kessler is the one pulling the strings, Hughie then squares up to fight Butcher by himself and most likely gets his ass kicked but at the last second Butcher gets back Control and begs Hughie to kill him. In an emotional moment Hughie deals the finishing blow and Butcher dies with a smile on his face.
Actually what i was really thinking, was how tf did Starlight get to the presidents bunk and from deeper within it if she wasnt let down there? And why didnt they just have Homelander kill Vic rather than Butcher, who she couldve easily reacted to and killed first? Earlier in the season we see her make 4 peoples nose bleed before she even steps in the room!
Bros asking the real question
I can answer the question about Vic maybe. She met with Hughie and the boys because she knew she could trust Hughie and she truly wanted to help them after Homelander scared her. The boys thought Butcher was still away and out of the game. When he came in everyone was stunned and had no time to react to his tentacles
I don't know the rules to her powers but from the 1st episode in season 3 it seems like she's only able to trigger the head pop against the guy from red river is if her eyes are free and she can either see the person or a body part, when butcher came in and unloaded the tentacles forat this they went for was her eyes completely blinded her and held her arms
Maybe will find out more about that power from Marie in gen v
@@codyjohns6931 yup. he blinded her so she couldn't pop him.
@@codyjohns6931if you look closely after she’s ripped in half you see her eyes glossy white. She was trying anything she could to fight back
See the thing is he did win but not really. Sage won. Now I'm not sure if i wanna see butcher vs love sausage next season
(sounds of puking) No! No more Love Sausage!
Grace pissed me off in the finale. There was absolutely no reason to rush. Their plan was after going to the bunker to get Ryan somewhere safe they had time to take it slow and she ruined it. Also fuck Ryan
I feel bad for Grace. She was a mother figure to Butcher
I have got a bad feeling that Season 5 will also be a lackluster cliffhanger of a season and more importantly, I hope everyone noticed that *Butcher only gets his superpowers when he allows Joe Kessler to take control.* That is a big problem because that means if Butcher tries to be good and do the right thing he will not have access to his powers.
3:51 THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IM THINKING!!! her beef w sage and then the elevator scene w the look on her face as sage corrects her saying "smartest person". it only makes sense for the story that sage gets her rival in ashlee out of anybody. im so glad you said this. the first person to say it since ive said it. most likely because i dont watch too many of these breakdown videos unless its new rockstars and they didnt even say this. so im hype knowing somebody else is thinking how im thinking. gives me hope that it might could happen.
rayan disobeying 2 dads 😂bro has guts
So is Butcher a supe now or just the tumor? I wonder if he can wrap those tentacles around him to form an armor.. you know.. VENOM
the tumor and butcher is supe and prob
@@jackts2375Butcher is basically a supe but the tumor controls his powers
Grace Malory tried to pull a Cecil move and it backfired greatly
I have a theory that Ryan went back to the House that Becca raised him during his childhood in Season 2
I think that butcher died and Kessler is all that remains
I agree, I also thought this
@@johnpastamanNo butcher is alive, he just agrees with Kessler's deal and you can see that he didn't kill Zoe, starlight, and Kimiko. And the last scene of Butcher driving, you can see that Kessler sat in the backseat. When Kessler said that he could give that juice that meant Kessler activated that super cancer
if that was the case he would’ve killed everybody in the room
"I think that butcher died and Kessler is all that remains"
NO. Because in the scene where butcher enters to kill Newman he says "Oi" which isn't in Kessler's vocabulary, meaning Butcher is alive.
Case closed.
Loved everything to do with Sage and her manic insanity
Why did she go to red river when she isnt an orphan and her father is there...
No idea
Victoria powers do not require eye contact because she killed the church leader without making eye contact with him. Now if you mean she simply needs to see someone you may have a point
I think she just needs to utilise her eyes, not see the person or make eye contact. She can't do anything if she's blindfolded.
"WE ARE BUTCHER" with this one lesgoo
- Ryan screwing up with his powers and hurting someone the first time was understandable, even the second time, but the idea he didn't know enough that his push would kill her was lame. Now he should be put down like his real dad, I mean sure nurture can combat nature to a degree but he is the child of Homelander and didn't get any nurturing so it would be another dumb if he ended up as being anything other than awful. I just don't see them having him go full evil and be killed for it so not that he's proven he can't control himself and will be very easily annoyed into killing the only mother figure he still has when they do have him be a hero it will just seem off.
It's not that he didn't know that his push would kill her. It's more like he let his emotions get the better of him, which made him accidentally push her way harder than he wanted to.
I mean, they were going to drug him and force him to become a weapon to kill his father. His reaction to this is completely understandable.
This is more Grace and Butcher's fault for handling the situation badly. You can't just trauma dump that much on a child and ask them to kill their father and expect them to go, "You both are right, teach me how to kill my father."
Ryan has made it very clear throughout the show that he doesn't like killing. He's definitely not a lost cause.
@@ContagiousSponge he doesn't seem very traumatized by any of hte people he's killed so far if thats the angle they want to go with. The absolute mind F it would be for most to just casually kill some stunt man or deep fry his dads side piece would be pretty high but they don't really indicate he's got any issues with it. Didn't seem very shocked about him being a grape baby either, which would make most kids pretty ready to get trained to kill the completely absent father they don't or at least shouldn't have enough of a bond with to kill their only remaining mother figure over. Plus if it was really meant to be him falling into his emotions he should have pushed her way harder and not made it look like he was trying to control himself somewhat.
Definitely agree It was a dumb move for grace to say that crap though, Butcher should have kncoked her out right there and its completely retarded that the trigger for the gas would have to be a big stupid red button and not just a voice or handheld thing she could have set off without it being so ridiculously cliche of a big red bad things will happen button.
@@Babidi111 Literally, in the season where he killed his mother, he cried about it. When he killed the stuntman, he cried about it later. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if, in the next season, they'd make him feel sad about killing Grace. So yeah, he maybe doesn't look traumatized, but he made it very clear that he feels remorse for taking a life.
Also, like I said before, you can't trauma dump that much on a 12 year old child and expect them to react the way you want them to. They didn't even give him the time to process all of it.
And I can't stress this enough, they were going to drug him if he didn't come with them willingly! They basically gave him an ultimatum: either he willingly helps them kill his father or they'll make him. So his reaction to all of this is completely understandable.
And yes, Ryan definitely didn't mean to kill Grace. He was scared and panicked, and like I said earlier, he pushed her way harder than he wanted to.
It really annoys me how people watch this scene and already think Ryan is a lost cause, as if it wasn't Grace and Butcher's fault.
"if you start treating homelander junior you're gonna get homelander"
generational trauma summarized
Just read a comic called Irredeemable and I honestly feel like season 5 will follow some tropes from that Irredeemable comic series similarly with that character Plutonian.
Yeah 20 times out the blue should of warrant some thoughts
That whole Butcher ending Seemed way to out of character for everyone. Since when is Grace so important, since when is Butcher the voice of reason? what was the point of Ryan giving his "Tell the Truth" speech, if he was just be all Jaime Lannister about it.?
You tend to act different on the verge of death.
question, how is soldier boy racist? he hasn't really done anything racist
Who said he's racist?
@@lovatocrvero742 listen to the guy in the video when he first starts discussing soldier boy, he calls him racist
@@lovatocrvero742 additionally MM claims that soldier boy is racist, i'm just curious how he is
@@babaook-95 ofc MM thinks that cuz he killed his family But I don't think sb even knew if the people inside were black or white when he threw the car or smth towards their house....and SB isn't that racist, He adjust pretty well with the current time...didn't he had drinks with Bill Cosby even tho it's implied that Cosby spike his drink but sb doesn't even know cuz his body that strong....well there's no prove that SB is racist yet...he doesn't say or do racist things like when did y'all see that, I only saw that in stormfront aka liberty who killed that Women's brother solely because he was black
rewatch season 3, he said a lot of out of pocket things and he's from a different generation so it makes sense
I just want to see Ryan punch Homelander's jaw clean off in the same way Black Noir does it in the comic lol
Also does anyone else think the super-tumor could seperate from Butcher similarly to how it leaves that old lady in the cartoon?
what did it do after leaving the old lady? like an evil jellyfish?
My guy folded 20 times and got two fingers in the bonus round
this season of the boys have been weak. Sages "smartness" is not portrayed well at all, she just appears and says it all part of the plan to whatever happens and everyone buys it. i don´t know if i missed something but how did the new black noir get his power all of a sudden?
He could always fly, he just has to cosplay black noir and black noir cant fly. New noir sed when he wanted to quit, that another vought job was gonna allow him to fly
11:02. But remember...as Sister Sage said, she can handle Homelander's impulsive and emotional "curveballs."
12:34. Are the tumors/cancer also his symbiote?
How do you all feel about season 4?
Little brother from another mother 😂 12:33
Just had this thought, but what if Billy becomes like Alex Mercer from Prototype and the tendrils are just the start of what he can do now? That rematch with Homelander would be incredible if that's the case
the darkness
Hey! Spoilers! Not everyone read the comic! Didn't want to know how Butcher dies! No, really, Kriepke departs from it, I'm told, like Ryan being the son of Homelander (it was Black Noir in the comic, right?) I too think Ashley is getting mental powers; apart from what you said, the screen next to her glitched why her brain is... bumbling? As if waves emanated from her. She deserves some revenge after all her humiliations. So, we'll see! Great Recap!
2:47 *Everybody else:* 😄🤯🥳🥳🥳
*Me:* 😔😮💨😒 *and also* 😄🥳
The show has been pretty different from the comics so I expect a very different ending
So funny that Deep write Ashley with 2 e
the boys can use ashlees smart abilities to make a more effective virus for homelander and to make the virus not spread, although butcher might just want the virus enough for homelander (even though he might not need it)
Hum I think if her head powers were not in terms of smarts -all her intel on Homlander already helps- I can imagine her turning into Medusa! What if she turns people into salt if they look at her? After all, she is motivated by fear (it would be a great defense!) and humiliation -what if the job that took her hair made her grow snakes instead? It's be in character and she'd be really powerful
I think Ryan is going to be on his own side fighting Butcher and Homelander because he hates them both now for what they’ve done I think
It's hilarious how there are people that say Ryan will side with Homelander even though Ryan has made it very clear that he doesn't feel save with Homelander anymore.
Why am I just finding this channel🗿 you should promote it more, like mention in your main channel videos
Brooo you have a movie channel 😂😂😂wtf why didn't i know about this
Gen V season two and The Boys season 5 is gonna be epic.
The murder boner literally killed me 😂😂😂 black noir 2.0 is hilarious 😂
I want butcher to release the virus in the last season i dont want that bs power of friendship to stop him or something even tho A-train would also die which is pretty sad since he became one of my favs
Did Homelander really r@pe Becka, or they just tried to manipulate him against Homelander?
Sage and Homelander
George Milton and Lennie Small(Of Mice and Men)
Pinky and the Brain
i think Ashley is gonna get super hair powers
I don't think meant to kill Grace.
There is no way in hell they wouldn't have had multiple back up blackmail files. They are fighting supes that could easily break into that safe or torture or threaten their families whenever. Some of the dumbest writing ever
I wonder how power will work with her dominatrix tendencies. The ultimate girlboss.
I REALLY HOPE RYAN SURVIVE IN S5 AND RYAN AND ZOE FALL IN LOVE
Kimiko is a Sup "Assassin" yet always loses. Butcher is the strongest of the Boys, with or without Sup powers!
He won the battle but not the war
I think Ashley will get super powered hair like Medusa from the Inhumans. I mean let's give her a break from losing her hair for the pass 4 seasons
..or Medusa the Greek Goddess. Snakes for hair, turning people into salt...
Sister aizen lol
ABD ABD! Make a video on Arrival(2016) movie please
comics bad if compared to tv, tvs done it sooo better
I actually wants Homelander to win in the end, but not in the way you think.
We can except a "fatal 4 way" finale between Homelander vs Butcher vs Ryan vs Soldier Boy.
Homelander deserves to win this but at a great price of losing his son and father at the same day.
This will destroy the "Homelander" persona and all will be left is John Gillman, the broken sad man behind Homalnder.
But still he is the only one walking alive out of the final battle.
Wait solger boy rasist?
MM implied that he is.
MM said this but there isnt any proof.
It could be but we dont really know
- The show is kind of dumb. I mean, why didn't Neuman use her powers on Butcher, why did Frenchie not pull the trigger (I guess they did make him some weird queer that would check himself into prison rather than do something hetero with Kamiko but I thought they were trying to undo the cringe direction they went with him) when its clear he has lost his mind and even more clear he isn't their ally and will betray and kill them at anytime....It would take complete retardation to think he doesn't intend to at least kill Kimiko so.....its just nothing but shock and awe scenes that are not even trying to tac a story to.
Her powers come from her eyess
Butcher wrapped around the eyes
Basically Blocking her power
@@crunchy_water-osha that makes no sense after gen v, also they been trying to kill her for 3 seasons and tried everything, but alas they should have just blindfolded her
Hello I am soldier boy
I kinda agree with homelander wins. He was really treated like crap and flipping the script on being interested on what Ryan wants is a development. Butcher has been a piece of crap the whole time.
Newman's death shocked the fuck out of me. When I saw butcher pick her up I thought at most we'd see some skin rip and then someone would stop him then BAM
