this show is a comedy, it only has someone of a loose connection to history, or did it mention Peter admiration for Prussia that resultet in the peace between them or his reformprogram (reduction in travelrestrictions, traderestriction, torture and secrete police practices) also the court remained loyal to peter after the coup, Peter also fled and didnt stay, signed an abdication the same year and then died under unkown circumstances (sus xd)

This guy has to be the next James Bond. He has all the qualifications that are expected of a 007. Nicholas can deliver what Roger Moore couldn't; affable but genuine savagely charismatic interest in the James Bond franchise.
I thought Roger Moore was underrated. He brought a certain comedy to Bond that the other's lacked. He wasn't the worst Bond. Mixed feelings on Holt. He comes across as too much of a boy, even in his 30s or, however old he is. 007 is a role for a man.

I haven't watched this show, so I was confused as to why the guards were obeying her before him. If he had any sense, at this point he would have the guards killed and his wife locked up. Letting his wife control the guards to beat him would be basically giving up all of his power.
LOVE this scene. Peter basically tells Catherine that violence is a universal language and the only language that all people understand and respect. Catherine showed him how quickly she came to understand and be bilingual in this universal language, all while teaching him a lesson about violence.

Upon further examination this was the perfect way to prove her point.
