Wow so it's been a minute since my last upload. I took a month long vacation, traveled, cleared my head, got some inspiration and now I'm back with something new.
I started this project back in September, but was never inspired enough to finish it. I guess when you don't have access to editing for over a month you find that inspiration haha
I really liked that Peggy's flashback line in the beginning of the first Avengers movie, when Steve was beating the crap out of that poor gym bag, - "You won't be alone". I like how he sort of found his family of choice, his people, and how these people were, in the end, the driving force behind his will.

Steve is my favorite superhero. He is such a good person . He did one bad thing he should have told tony the truth . I understand why he didn’t . Bucky was his only conntection from his past . I couldn’t even imagine waking up 70 years later . Guess what everyone died . Then he found Bucky was alive but is brainwashed. He lost Natasha and tony . He lost so many people . He was such a tragic character. There is something special about Steve I can’t describe it. I am really going to miss him .

Its not that Bucky was a friend of Cap and he was the only connection of him..
Its because Cap always stands for justice' whatever it takes.. Cap knew Bucky killed Howard Stark but he also knew it was not intentional from Bucky... Bucky mind was controlled by Hydra... If Bucky would have killed Tony parents intentionally than believe me brother Cap will be the first person to kill Bucky..
Cap was always right!! Though that's the reason he was able to lift mjonhir from Captain America part 1.

“I’m gonna miss you buddy” “it’s gonna be okay Buck” I’ve never paid attention to that line before this video, but oh my god. He knew exactly what Steve was going to do. He didn’t have a last second realization after Steve didn’t come back. He knew beforehand. Wow.

One thing that will break my heart about 5:00 is that Bucky already knows Steve so well that he already knows what he is going to do. It shows how close they truly are
I took it as they had discussed everything beforehand, especially with the subtle clues thrown in when we see Bucky and Sam interact. Bucky allows Sam to go to Steve alone, as if he already knows he'll be presented with the shield.

Well you know I love your Steve videos and this one is no exception. I LOVED the part where Nat tells him "see you in a minute." Paired with the music a casual statement like that becomes profoundly sad. (Especially when you follow it through with her death scene and everything that it cost.) You are amazing at showing that Steve is first and foremost inherently good and that's what makes your videos so powerful. Really beautiful.

I was casually following your vids years ago, and *you* are the reason I even decided to watch The First Avenger when it just came out. You always stitch it together so beautifully, turn him over and inspect from the different angles, but the core is the same. And your Steve is my Steve. Thank you for loving him and portraying him over and over again.

So beautiful. Not even MARVEL's pro editors couldn't do a better job and that's a fact. If I have to critique (just a constructive one): if you would've filtered the sound in some sequences from all the background noise. But, still, beautiful.
Captain America IS the Force of Will. Never been a comic book reader, but from what that I saw watching MCU movies, he can be the ultimate role model for integrity and sheer will. ''Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say 'No, you move'.”

@@SecretlyToDream One way you could do it is by downloading the movies in six channel audio. Then, depending on the editing program you have (I know SVP and Adobe Premiere have this) you can isolate each of the sound channels and isolate everything but dialogue. It definitely makes a difference!
Lauren B oh yeah, I know, I’ve been doing that for the past ten years. The original audio isn’t that clear, that’s the problem. Even with 5.1 or 6.1 sound some of the dialogue is just not clear enough and there is no physical way to remove the background noise/music/audio, no matter how much you’d want it.

Но блин, ЭГ мне сломал всю картину мира 😭 я после кинотеатра ещё ни разу не пересматривала этот ужасный конец стивиной арки и финальные кадры мне сделали как никогда больно 🥺 да ещё и в HD, это вообще как серпом по несуществующим яйцам, эта несчастная улыбка Баки и тихий голос 😭😭😭

Я не приемлю концовку, я знаю, что она есть, и это "канон", и нам надо как-то с ней жить, но это просто невозможно 😭 не только как шипперу стаки, а и вообще ценителям логичного а не ленивого сюжета. Вот никогда не прощу Руссо что они позволили такому ленивому сценарию стать оф.концовкой вселенной! И это после шедеврального ЗС, как мы все их боготворили 😢 что мешало вернуть Стива назад и показать счастливую старость в хоть и не родной по крови новой семье, а не высасывать нелогичный конец с бедной Пегги? (честно, этот танец как из фильмов ужасов, имхо, такое ощущение, что она сейчас заплачет, а Стив похож на серийного маньяка со своей улыбочкой, имхо 😥)

You make some of the best fandom videos out there, I swear. I have watched, liked, and fav'ed so many over the years I've lost count. I even watch and enjoy ones you make for fandoms I'm not part of because you're talent is incredible and the emotions you envoke through your editing is just amazing. But this video? It made me cry. Steve Rogers is without a doubt one of my top favorite Marvel characters and you captured who he is just... perfectly. You always do.

tl;dr this video is great and made things feel a little better despite how much i hate endgame
i love your steve rogers videos. you've always managed to capture his arc and personality so well with your intensely emotional edits. but with the way endgame went, when i saw this upload, i put it off for hours because i was dreading more of the same "steve and peggy happy ending uwu" videos other editors have been pushing since endgame.
all that amazing characterization we got, with steve coming to terms with his place in the 21st century and finding family over the course of his trilogy...and then endgame just threw all that in the trash with a shoehorned "happy" ending that opposed his entire arc (among other glaring issues). i've been so frustrated with other videos' and fans' insisting that steve abandoning everyone to get the girl is the good ending and we're expected to accept it at face value.
so...in my roundabout bitter way, this is my saying, "i'm glad you're still out there making content true to steve's character, that have that same aching heartstring pull while neatly sidestepping the bullshit writing." i wish i could just say "this is amazing" and not water down my love for your work with my pessimism over endgame's bad writing, but endgame has so thoroughly soured steve's arc and characterization that i can no longer divest my feelings over it when consuming post-eg fanworks. and i hate that for both of us.
anyway...uhh...holy cow the edited monologue. with all the callbacks and parallels. that had to be difficult to put together and audio balance. and it flowed so smoothly despite being from so many totally different conversations over half a dozen movies.

Yes, the ending of EG made me go all "wtf", but I guess vidders didn't really have a choice but to accept it, because it was the "official" ending of the character arc, despite what everyone liked or didn't like. I personally didn't agree with it, it didn't make sense for me, even though I sort of could see some ways why they chose this for his ending.
You're speaking from my soul. I haven't been able to read any fanfic since endgame. I'm just feeling let down, and don't really enjoy the world of the MCU anymore.
It felt like after Civil War they sort of ditched this character. I mean in IW Steve had barely lines, and then endgame made him into a guy who leaves behind his friends of 10 years for a woman he knew for 1-2 years. Peggy and Steve are both different people now and I honestly can't see a way for their relationship to work in the long run.
@@SecretlyToDream I completely agree with you! I wasn't a fan of Steve's ending in EG, either. I feel like most fans who aren't hardcore steggy shippers or are just casual fans don't like the ending they gave him. Even if it makes sense to do something like that since they're trying to write him off without killing him, it doesn't make sense with everything we were shown in Steve's arc. It felt like a disservice to his character and not something he would actually do.
I find you to be very idiotic to think Steve's ending in End Game isn't justifiable. It was the perfect way to end his arc. Hes gone, deal with it. Any man would abandon fighting to be with someone they never had the second chance with and he took that second chance with. Fuck off with your stupidity.

Any sane man would choose the woman of his dreams over continuation of fighting. And any sane man would choose a second chance with someone he loved who had died. Maybe it's hard for your dumb ass to accept that cap is gone, or maybe you dont like the way they ended his arc, but it's the best way they could have possibly ended his arc, so stop assuming what people think and speak for yourself.

The mcu didn't give Steve the ending he deserved. I don't think he should have gone to Peggy because she had her own life with Sousa and the SSR. I think that if he died battle would've been a better end to him because it would show that he was an exceptionally good good soldier, man and friend
In my opinion I think your wrong I think they showed everything about Steve perfectly for his ending,
amazing soldier cause he just saved the world and brought everyone back with a little help,
showed he’s an amazing friends throughout the years of watching cap plus when he told buckey it’s gonna be ok,
last but not least they gave him the perfect ending cause he always regretted never having time with his girl/wife cause he was frozen in the ice,
well when he went back he got the last thing he wanted witch was that time,
then lived his life and came back to his friends in his older age looking happier than ever
